Our power bills in small businesses have risen significantly. We need a solution to help keep them affordable and reliable.

To our wonderful Benjamin guests,

It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the closure of our venue, The Benjamin on Franklin. Circumstances beyond our control have led to this difficult decision but we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to pursue our dreams and create a beautiful space for our local community.

We have thoroughly enjoyed serving you and appreciate your patronage over the years. Thank you for trusting us with your special occasions - birthdays, engagements, and even some weddings (one with a couple who had their first date at The Benjamin).

We want to thank our amazing team 🫶 (present & past) for their hard work and dedication to providing our guests with excellent service (and delicious cocktails).

While The Benjamin on Franklin is closing its doors, The Benjamin still exists at the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre and The Little Theatre (serving your pre-show drinks). Our team will also continue serving you via our sister venue, Polly Baker (the cafe located in the foyer of GPAC, open 7-days a week, 8am-4pm + showtimes).

Our dreams for The Benjamin continue and we hope to serve you all delicious cocktails again in the not-too-distant future – so watch this space! Until then, we want to express our gratitude for your support and loyalty. It has been a pleasure serving you.

Cheers 🥂

Now my biggest wall in Moe, hopefully the trend continues. This was meant to be the backdrop for the Show me some Art Festival, but it was an honour to have it done for Anzac Day at the Moe RSL
I’ve never had so many compliments whilst painting a mural, I think a lot of it was the respect the people have for the veterans and what they did for our country. The soldier on the right was Moe local legend Wally Johnson, who had just been wounded from a Japanese gr***de. It’s an iconic image taken from World War Il.
Cheers everyone who helped support this.

Sadly Cann River flag poles were severely damaged overnight with RSL members having to fix one and another nearly cut off. If you have any information on this please call the police.

Natural Firelighters
Ooo yuck scraps! Nope not yuck....these my friends; are fire lighters. We live with a wood stove for warmth & heating most of the year. Any citrus peel we have, I dry it off on the stove top until all moisture has gone. Then use as fire lighters. Works a treat, combined with a little dry kindling. PLUS your house smells absolutely amazing. A gentle citrus uplifting aroma. Try it. No chemical filled fire lighters required. 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊
