We loved building "Timmy" ... it hovers above a babbling brook, in the heart of an ancient oak woodland - a big hug of a treehouse, 30 ft up, with its own Swedish hot tub, swings, treenets and much more .... a super-cosy place to stay - deep in the heart of the natural environment.

You'll have to ask someone who's been, or read the reviews - but it's not really like either of those.

Rooms are high in the treetops, supported by the natural woodland.

Everything is designed by us and handmade by local artisans.

A few years ago we found two Tawny Owlets, dehydrated and barely alive, in the woods ... our fabulous neighbour Barry took them in and nursed them back to health over several months, before releasing them back into the wild. They still come back every night! Gorgeous!

Who's who @ living-room? Here's Mark, our inestimable leader... ... attempting a move which effortlessly combines the grand finale of "Titanic" with the pagan ritual of rebirth - such grace (apart from the legs at the end!) Come to living-room and roll around in leaves with the people you love! X

Have a snorter of a Sunday! We met some real characters on Glyndwr's Way yesterday. The long distance walking route comes through the treehouse valley and offers gorgeous adventures in every direction! X

After their mother was taken by a Goshawk, we found two tiny and terribly dehydrated Barn Owl "owlets" in the treehouse woods ... ... it didn't look good - but after a few months of hand feeding and experienced care by Barry they are both looking magnificent and are about to be released back in to the wild - gorgeous X
