HELP US GROW THE GREEN!
We are almost done but need your help! The accessible toilet -- the only public facility on the Flint Hills Byway, is already in use, as well as the multilevel watering station, offering a drink bowl for dogs, a wheelchair-height fountain, and a bottle refilling port.
Pads have been poured for a sheltered picnic area. Large slabs of limestone have been set into curving seat height walls, and plans are being finalized for a bike wash-and-repair station. We are almost there!
We need your help to get to the finish line. Your gift will help us purchase accessible picnic tables, a baby changing station, weatherproof displays, and a future land artwork. It will also help fund needed repairs to begin restoration of The Bank building, which we hope can once again greet travelers with free coffee, tourist information, art exhibitions and community events.
You can make your gift for these projects go even further if you donate on or before Nov. 18, thanks to a Match Day opportunity by our partners at Emporia Community Foundation
