MANCELONA MEMORIAL DAY PARADE - Participants will line up beginning 8:30 a.m. in front of Dairy Delite. Parade is led by the American Legion Post 264 Mancelona and begins 9:00 a.m. First stop is at Mancelona Township Library downtown, for a service. From there, parade goes to Fairview Cemetery (across from Tri-Gas on M-88) for a service, then to St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery for a service there. At the conclusion, all are invited to attend the brief Memorial Day service in Alba at the cemetery next to Star Township Fire & Rescue on Alba Road (east of U.S. 131). (No parade). It will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Mancelona's.
