Nagoya Advnture Cycle has to unfortunately stop tours for awhile due to a family medical issue that has taken our focus as we navigate this situation. We do apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause those interested in exploring Nagoya by bicycle.
We do hope to be back up and running but the timeline is uncertain at this point so please keep an eye on our page for updates as to when we are back in the saddle.

Haven’t been able to post lately so I’m happy to finally post these photos of a recent monitor tour I was able to be part of. I was invited to which is one of Nagoya’s finest and restaurants and not only did we enjoy amazing locally sourced foods from we were treated to an amazing performance from three of only 18 geisha left in Aichi. Once Aichi was home to the largest number of geisha in the country at around 3,000 but time and modernization have slowly chipped away their numbers. Nagoya geisha are famous for being able to perform and pose in the shape of and are one of the famous symbols of Nagoya. The two golden kinshachi in top of is the inspiration behind this iconic pose.

The are almost in full bloom yet the rain is threatening to cause them to fall early. We are hoping the rain let’s up and we can ride past some of Nagoyas best kept and local areas for and bypass the overcrowded main parks and rathe boring yamazaki riverside.

We are sorry to inform you that Nagoya Adventure Cycle will be temporarily closed until the New Year 2023. We will be taking some personal time to handle some logistical issues on our bicycle parking situation and looking into upgrading our bicycle fleet. We are also having to take some time off due an upcoming surgery and hospital stay to repair my wife’s knee which was broken in an accident earlier this year. It’s been a long process of healing from her first surgery almost a year ago to this upcoming and hopefully final one to remove the pins and screws.

We wish everyone the best for the upcoming holiday season and end of year and our best hopes for you and yours for an amazing 2023.

One thing we highly recommend while in Nagoya is to make the short trip to and then walk the old which was one of two main routes from to . The closest stretch and some of the most beautiful is between and the whole walk/hike between the two post towns takes about 2 hours and takes you through the country and into preserved Japanese towns.
We highly recommend an overnight stay to fully enjoy the area.
