Small
business generates about 80% of the net new jobs in this country, yet
small business and business owners in general are vilified by the
government, by the press and by the entertainment industry. (When's the
last time you saw a business owner portrayed in a positive light in a
movie or on TV? Business owners are ...usually
portrayed as the "bad guys".) Yet, in all the talk about "stimulus",
and after two years of failed "stimulus" plans, the government only
recently decided to throw small business a bone by adding more SBA
funds. I and most other small business owners don't really care so much
about SBA loans, we just want an environment that is conducive to
creating more business. (if our business is growing, then we'll NEED to
hire more people) The environment that is most conducive to this is an
environment of less government and lower taxes. But with the huge
deficit spending that has gone on in the last several years, and the
massive deficits projected for the next few years (from both sides of
the political aisle) the environment has been harsh for small business
owners and most small business owners are just forced to stay pat (and
not hire more people) until the environment improves. This video
