Now you might be confused because you have not seen cows in the crater, well here is another fact about Ngorongoro is one of the few parks where people are allowed to live. Several Masai live on the crater rim with their livestock. 🐘🦁

While driving through Tarangire National Park we encountered this big tembo (elephant in Swahili) family! 🐘😍
On our way to the Ngorongoro conservation area, we spotted this big group of baboons! 🐒😳
Did you know that hyenas are one of the most successful predators in the world? That is because the hyena is very resilient. They follow their chosen prey until they get it exhausted Then the hyena will attack and start to eat even if the prey is still alive! Hyenas have the strongest jaw in the animal kingdom and they can break any bone they want. 😳
