This year, Disney is celebrating 25 sweet years of the beloved Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Starting November 6, the iconic house that smells as good as it looks will be available for guests to bask in the holiday festivities.
As you explore the various details of this incredible display, you’ll find white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and an 88-pound white chocolate Santa.
The gingerbread itself is baked with 1050 pounds of honey, 800 pounds of flour, and 600 pounds of confectioners’ sugar. The decorations feature 700 pounds of chocolate and feature over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread – yes, you heard that right. The team spend over 500 hours baking the gingerbread and 480 hours bringing all the dazzling details to life.
To celebrate the 25 years of holiday tradition, there are 25 hidden Mickeys scattered throughout. See how many you can find!

✨ This newest feature allows one-time entry to each Lightning Lane experience in a theme park—to enjoy at your leisure that day.

🎢 This will begin as a pilot for Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resort hotels, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts and other select hotels, for park visits during their stay.

✨ Eligible Guests can purchase Lightning Lane Premier Passes up to 7 days before the first day of their Resort stay—for their entire length of stay (up to 14 days)—starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time.

The past few days have reinforced the importance of using a travel agent. My top priority is always my clients’ experience—not just with their vacation, but also with me. With a hurricane approaching Florida, many of my clients understandably wanted to cancel their trips. There are so many uncertainties: Will the airport reopen? If it does, will my flight still be canceled? Will my Disney experience be the same? Will I be safe? It’s completely understandable why someone would want to cancel or postpone their plans.

One of my clients expressed feeling bad about canceling because she knew it might affect my income and even asked if she could pay me separately. While I could have accepted this kind offer, I thanked her for her thoughtfulness and reassured her that it wasn’t necessary. This comes with the role, and I’m just happy to help ensure she feels confident and safe.

Yes, I spent two hours on the phone yesterday canceling her trip, and yes, I did miss out on some earnings. But what matters most to me is doing what’s right for my clients. I’m committed to being with them through the ups, downs, and everything in between.

Working with me costs nothing, but I know the value I bring to my clients is immeasurable. I stay up-to-date on the latest information, take training courses, attend conferences, and provide the time, resources, and care my clients need—whether they’re going on a trip or canceling one. I’m here to support them every step of the way.
