In April 2013 Gareth Andrews and Richard Stephenson will race 600kms on foot across the sea ice and tundra of the High Arctic to the Magnetic North Pole.
The Polar Challenge 2013 is the toughest endurance race in the world. Fully integrated into Gareth and Richard's race is an experiential learning programme for school children in Australia and New Zealand. The programme "Inspiration through Adventure" is designed to bring the wonder and challenges of the polar wilderness into the classroom and inspire a new generation of young people to affect positive change on the world through the medium of adventure.
