The highlight of the week 😀 was attending a celebration event organised by Tourism Northern Ireland in Belfast Crumlin Road Gaol for members of the portfolio. Great to have the opportunity to listen to the guest speakers and go on a tour of the gaol afterwards. Thanks to everyone who organised this

The countdown is now on to the Food & Cider Festival 5th to 8th September 🤩. During the last few years one of my highlights over the festival is organising and guiding the Friday evening Food & Drink Tour. It's a very sociable evening with delicious menus, local craft ciders and apple juices 🍎🍏. I am so lucky🥰to have a great team of guides working with me on the Visit Armagh summer walking tours. There have been lots of positive comments from people attending with all the guides but it is always so nice to see it in writing.

A local man who was one of the guests at the weekend sent me the following message "Hi Donna just to pass on how much I enjoyed taking your walking tour of our city today with Lynne. Amazed at her grasp of historical names and linking stories to buildings and buildings to yarns...and not a script in sight.
Well done and would highly recommend the experience. Cost would hardly cover that of a pint and far more satisfying."

There are still another 5 weeks of the scheduled Armagh City Centre Walking Tours 🚶(Thurs to Sun) and 2 more tours of the Archbishop's Palace (Palace 2pm 18th August & 1st Sept). It's a nice relaxing way to spend approx an hour and a half with a qualified tour guide 😃.
