That’s a wrap! and I () thank each and everyone of you for supporting our bike guiding business for the past 6 years. We made the difficult decision to close Alaska Bike Adventures. We started Alaska Bike Adventures in 2019 because we wanted to share the trails with guests who made their trip up to Alaska. We have guided hundreds of people from all over the world on our local Anchorage trails, in the Kenai Peninsula, doing a ton of Knik Glacier fatbike rides and a White Mountains National Recreation tour near Fairbanks. We even took “locals” on bike trips who just never really had the exposure to mountain biking or know about trail connectivity. So many great memories with each guest. Thank you all for the awesome adventures. We hope to see you on the trails😀

We are selling our bikes!! These are super fun to ride. We have a couple of Otso Voyteks, an XL Corvus Rhino for fatbikes WITH studded tires and non-studded tires. Then we have a size run of full suspension bikes. We included specs and information, as well as pricing in the slide after each bike. Email us [email protected] or call at (907) 312-3097 if you are interested. Thank you!

When James is not flying all over the world as a cargo pilot, he enjoys the short moments he has in Anchorage mountain biking! We ran into AK Bike Adventures co-owner, clearing trails at Kincaid. The long daylight really makes the vegetation burst! Then we capped off the ride with the delicious hot dogs from . Such a great day! 🌭🚲🌿

Another great group out on the trails! We felt the warmth of the sun, saw two moose, an eagle, and got to sample some winter singletrack! Dave and Faith were passing through Anchorage on there way north and we were lucky enough to take them for a short adventure before continuing on. Always a treat to ride with great company. Safe travels on the rest of your trip!

Another father and son team visiting Alaska and jumping in the race in the Matanuska Valley. Darrell and his 19-year old son Adrian rented our Voytek bikes and full bag set up and powered through the soft snow conditions for a 100 miles! Very impressive since they are all the way from Texas and Florida. This is Darrell’s second Su 100 and this was Adrian’s first Su 100. Y’all did great🙌🏽

From fat biking to ski touring, downhill skiing to sightseeing, there's so much more to winter in Anchorage than Northern Lights.

We enjoyed the last day of 2023 with the Reep family on a family guided tour. It’s always a pleasure to ride bikes with the whole familia. They are no stranger to Anchorage as they used to live here before. We are happy to have taken them on a favorite local adventure. Happy New Year everyone and we looking forward to riding bikes with you in 2024.

Lawrence is a high school teacher in San Diego. He’s spending his winter break to escape the warm winter days to cool down in Alaska. Today we had clear skies with a handful of degrees above 0. Yup, 5 degrees! We had a nice visit from Denali across the Cook Inlet.
