Devdarha, the perfect creation of the almighty with beauty of nature. River passing through the mountain canyon. The mighty waterfall will just hypnotise you with its majestic view. It's the most suitable place if you want to do a night out with friends and spend the night in tent with bone fire or if you want to do adventurous trek or rafting. This place also have a beautiful Temple of Shiv ji worshiped by the local peoples. This place is open for all seasons except rainy season because in rainy season this place is full with flood water. This place is situated at a distance of 20kms from Padampur of Bargarh district. The Nearest Bus stop is Padampur, Railway station is Bargarh present at 110kms distance and nearest airport is Jharsuguda... You can take taxi and local guide from Padampur.

Harishankar
Amidst picturesque landscape on the southern slope of Gandhamardan hills stands Harishankar, a place of pilgrimage with uncommon scenic charms. A perennial stream bursting into droplets rushes on its hard granite bed to form cascades at different stages. As a cool resort in the lap of nature, Harishankar is a ideal place for the heat of the summer season.

A cool bath with sliding on the streaming rock brings the visitors uncommon happiness. It is believed that one can refrain from all his sins with having a bath in the stream and worship the Lord Harishankar for which the devotees from various part of the country come here to fulfill their wishes. Harishankar as a amazing variety of flora and fauna. A deer park adjoining to the Gandhamardan hill is of huge tourists importance. Tourists from far-flung places flock to Harishankar on the occasion of Baishankha Mela. It is also a very popular picnic spot. Tourist can stay in the panthanivas to enjoy the picturesque scenic beauty of Harishankar.

On the Northern slope of the Gandhamardan hills lies Nrusimhanath in Bargarh district. Both the places are connected by a hilltop road of 16kms distance. The pilgrims cover this distance within a day on foot during Nrusingha Chaturdasi Mela. Mountain trekkers and adventurists also find the journey an interesting one. Harishankar is connected by an all-weather good motorable road 81kms away from Balangir. Regular bus services operate to and fro from Balangir. But visitors are advised to take their own transport from Balangir town.

Ranipur Jharial...
104kms. away from Balangir town to the south west, stands on a rocky hill, the shrine of presiding deity of 64 Yoginis. Ranipur Jarial is known as “Soma Tirth” in scriptures. It is a combination of religious faiths of Saivism, Budhism, Vaisnavism and Tantrism. Sixtyfour Yoginis are worshiped on a close circular openvault. The major attaraction of the place is one of the four such shrines in India. The temple dedicated to Lord Someswar Siva is the noted one among a plethora of about 50 temples here.
Indralath, the majestic brick temple is said to be the highest brick temple of Odisha. Mundpadar at a distance of 4kms is the nearest bus stop to reach Ranipur Jharial.

Somewhere on the earth under the sky. The Splendid view with the golden crops made my day special. Balangir is a drought affected area and the farmers have to face so many problems but still they work hard and make the impossible into possible.
