Many many thanks to the mayor Giuseppe Colonna, to the vice-mayor and Tourism Councilor Angelo Rotolo, to Pasqualino Sibilia, Expert in Territorial Communication & Marketing, untiring and always helpful mayor's staff member and to the unique and indispensable Carmela Surace of the Comune di Mola di Bari for their precious collaboration and support in the organization of the International Workshop on Accessible & Sustainable Tourism held in the Angevin Castle in Mola di Bari on the 18th of April and to the mayor Salvatore Musarò and to Mimmo Balestra, Councilor for Welfare of the Comune di Andrano for their precious and constant collaboration and support in the organization of the B2B meeting held in the Caracciolo Castle in Andrano on the 21st of April!!

The project partner Gal Molise will welcome in Molise from the 2nd to the 4th of May, Italian, Albanian and Montenegrin tour operators to exchange best practices on accessible and sustainable tourism. They will participate in study visits in different towns of Molise region belonging to the hosting Local Action Group to explore naturalistic and cultural sites and accessible facilities.

Nei giorni 02, 03 e 04 Maggio ospiteremo in Molise diversi tour operator Italiani, Albanesi e Montenegrini per uno scambio di buone pratiche sul turismo accessibile e sostenibile. Dopo un evento di benvenuto iniziale, ci sarà un tour di visite studio presso diversi comuni molisani del nostro GAL presso siti di interesse naturalistico e culturale e presso strutture accessibili.

Last stop-over of the Incoming Mission: visit to Otranto and to its unique Cathedral, a meeting point of different cultures, an example of integration between traditions apparently far the one from the other that melt together to create a marvellous mosaic of humanities...thanks to Erika Santo from the Social Cooperative Luce a Est for the detailed explanations and the devotion to her job!

On the last day of the Incoming Mission, the tour operators involved had the opportunity to meet local tour operators and providers of different kinds of tourist services during the B2B Meeting that was held at the Castle of Andrano. It represented a precious occasion to share their impression on the Incoming Mission, suggest proposals of improvement of Accessible&Sustainable tourist offer and get to know successful examples of full participation to tourist experiences mainly by people with physical disabilities L'Integrazione l'integrazione and SWIM Liberi di Nuotare

Last stop-over of the day: visit to the Castle of Castro organized in collaboration with Pasquale Urso, tourist guide collaborating with Centro di Educazione Ambientale Unione dei Comuni delle Serre Salentine. After the welcome greetings by the Mayor Mr. Luigi Fersini, the participants to the Incoming Mission were led by Emanuele Ciullo, knowledgeable archeologist and guide in the Museo Archeologico Castro where they could admire the statue of Athena, recently discovered during the excavation works that allowed to bring to life unknown strata of the ancient history of the town.

Second stop-over of the second day of the Incoming Mission at the Museo della Civiltà del Vino Primitivo led by the professional guide Katia Caraglia: the group tasted different Primitivo wines perfectly combined with typical food of the territory including the cranu stumpatu, a peasants' speciality based on simple and healthy ingredients (wheat, onion and pepper). Then the visit to the Museum of the Primitivo wine civilization has followed, a reproduction of daily life of the last century, in the evocative scenario of the tanks which were used to store the wine until the fifties!

After a restorative stay at the Iris B&B and Masseria Moretti in Laterza, the group moved to Grottaglie to visit the Secret Garden of Casa Vestita, home of the poetic ceramist Mimmo Vestita on the second day of the Incoming Mission: all participants were astonished by the beauty of an ancient mosaic floor, the chapel discovered in 2008 rich in Templar symbols, wide and fresh cisterns, anciently used to store rain water which now host an exhibition of rare and finely decorated potteries...

First day of the Incoming Mission involving Italian and international tour operators organized in collaboration with Teo Viaggi: Agenzia Viaggi & Turismo: visit to the Whistle Museum in Rutigliano.
Many thanks to the Pro Loco Rutigliano for the amazing visit and the wonderful experience of painting terracotta c***s!!
The group was pleasantly and warmly welcome by the Mayor of the town, Mr. Giuseppe Valenzano and the Councillor for Tourism and Culture, Mrs. Milena Palumbo.

The activities will be preceeded by the International Workshop on Accessible&Sustainable Tourism that will be hosted in the Angevin Castle of Mola di Bari on Tuesday 18th of April and will be closed by the B2B meetings that will take place in the Castle of Andrano on Friday 21st of April.
