🛳️🌟 Our cruise adventure has come to an end—and what an incredible journey it’s been! We are deeply grateful to our 51 wonderful guests who joined us on a truly extraordinary ocean cruise through Portugal, Spain, France, and Britain.

🚢✨ Together, we experienced something truly rare: an ocean vessel sailing not only the open seas but also two of Europe’s most iconic rivers.
We journeyed into the heart of Bordeaux via the Dordogne River and then glided through the timeless landscapes of Normandy along the Seine River. These rare river sailings—virtually unheard of for an ocean cruise—offered us intimate, up-close views of France’s countryside, vineyards, and historic charm.

🙏To our amazing guests: thank you for bringing your warmth, laughter, and adventurous spirit aboard. You made every moment meaningful and unforgettable.

As we look back on 2024, one can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the incredible journeys, unforgettable experiences, and cherished memories we’ve created along the way. Beginning January 8, travelers to the United Kingdom from non-European nations, including the United States and Canada, will need to take an extra step, as the new Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system rolls out. Whether just passing through a UK airport or planning a stay of six months or less—for tourism, family visits, business meetings, conferences, or study abroad—visitors will have to fill out an online form (available here: https://lnkd.in/eYsDXsP7 Apply for an ETA to come to the UK – GOV.UK) and pay a £10 fee (about $12.75). Then as you prepare to board a plane, gate agents will verify your ETA status via digital link to your passport. The Home Office says the system, like all biometrics in the travel industry, is designed to speed up the process and increase security. While applications might be approved in a few hours, the site suggests allowing at least three days for them to come through. But why wait? Applications already are being accepted. Once issued, an ETA is valid for two years or until the traveler’s passport expires, whichever comes first.
On April 2, the requirement to have an ETA will roll out to EU nationals as well. Only citizens of the UK and Ireland, and those with valid UK visas, will be exempt.
