Roseanna and Scott Boyer moved here seven years ago. Unfortunately, they did not have a due diligence tour available and this is their reason for being an part owner of this company. "I believe we would have been better prepared if we had researched the hospitals, grocery stores, met other people and even learned about how to buy furniture." commented Roseanna. We just really wanted to live in a warm environment. Scott has a heart condition and retired early from the postal service. They had a desire to live in a more calm environment. They do not speak Spanish so the language is not crucial in their town of Playa Del Coco. Roseanna retired early from the postal service as well and has returned to some artistic roots and sells her designs as well. She donates her time for the community and believes in helping others and they both have a love for animals. They are both in their 50's, own a home and are residents of Costa Rica. Lisa is a professional business single woman brought here for work. She moved to Playa del Coco where she rents a condominium. "I never thought about a due diligence tour but it would have truly helped me in buying a car, meeting a Internal Medicine doctor, and meeting a local Vet plus just gain information on residency, and leaving the country every ninety days, etc." commented Lisa. She is very active in sports and has three pets. She works in medical tourism so she gained a quick knowledge of physicians. Lisa speaks Spanish due to her volunteer work in Colombia with a medical mission team. Here, in Costa Rica, she owns a foundation for children helping them attend school or sports with shoes. (www.soulshelpingsoles.org). She gives a good perspective on living alone and getting around town as a professional and meeting people.
