Jason Johnson grew up in south eastern West Virginia and attended West Virginia University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He developed a love of travel while in college there and spent part of his senior year in Sydney, Australia as an exchange student. He returned home for the last part of his senior year and headed to South Carolina after graduation, where he took his first
job as an RN, working in a Surgical Intensive Care unit at a regional hospital in Florence. From there Jason went on to work at Duke University, the University of North Carolina, West Virginia University and the University of Southern California. Little did he know it at the time, he met his future wife while at USC, although they would not begin dating and marry for a number of years. Jason began working as a travel nurse in 2000, which eventually led him to Southern California. Jason had always had an entrepreneurial spirit, engaging in different businesses during college and his early career as a nurse. He caught the real estate bug in the early 2000’s and bought his first property in 2004 in South Carolina. As he worked as a nurse, he continued to educate himself more in the real estate industry and bought his second property in 2007. He began to get more creative with his acquisition strategy and has been involved in a number of different transactions across the country. Jason and his wife believe that, as their business name implies, working together , their clients can achieve their desired real estate solutions faster and easier , whether they are buying or selling property, than they could without JR Synergy.
