Colorado is a well-known destination for winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding, and snowmobiling. However, the mountains of Colorado are also a beautiful vacation spot in the summer with so much to do! This is especially true in Breckenridge, CO.

Breckenridge has a thriving food scene that often features local ingredients such as bison, lamb, trout, and seasonal vegetables. The town has many breweries and beer festivals throughout the year, including one of the states largest Oktoberfests. Breckenridge also holds several art festivals throughout the summer that feature many styles and mediums.

In addition, a trip to Breckenridge can be done without a car rental! There are affordable shuttles that can transport visitors from the Denver airport right into Breck. Once they have arrived, there is a free shuttle service that makes moving around town extremely easy. The downtown area is very walkable, and some visitors also rent bicycles as another form of transport.
