Travel Tip Tuesday: Disney Cruise Line Edition

If you want to get your cruise kick-started as soon as you get onboard, I recommend packing a bag with essentials and wearing your bathing suit (or carrying it on) so you can head right to the pool!

It may be a few hours before your stateroom and luggage are available to you, so carry anything you'll need for the first few hours to get your vacation started!

Halloween Horror Night RIP Tour review!

Last night we attended HHN33 with an RIP Tour.

The tour allows you to check in as early as 530pm (with stay and scream or day time ticket) and get your credentials which give you unlimited express pass for rides until and after your tour time.

Our tour was 830pm. We arrived at 630pm. It was raining so we went to get some food (Minions Cafe... actually really good!) and some drinks.

We walked around a bit through some scare zones and went back to Diagon Alley to see the Death Eaters for a while before making our way back to Café LA Bamba to check in for our tour.

They had food (some of the HHN offerings like pizza fries and Bloody Goody Bag), a cash bar, and free soft drinks and bottled water.

They give you 30 minutes to eat etc and then you go next door to the Horror Makeup Show waiting area to meet up with your group.

We had 9 people plus our guide. We did 3 houses and then they took us up to a private bar above Jimmy Fallon where there was another cash bar and a terrace overlooking the long lines.

We did 3 more houses and then stopped at another private RIP lounge at Lombards with cash bar and bathrooms.

After that, we finished the remaining 4 houses. We completed 10 houses, 2 lounge stops, and 2 bathroom breaks in under 3 hours! We ended with Nightmare Fuel at 1230 and had the best seats in the house.

The walking was soooo much less with the tour. We went through back entrances and hopped from house to house without having to exit all the way back to the front, cutting the time down dramatically. I would totally do it again. 10/10 recommend if you want to save time.

HHN33... I am digging the punk rock vibes this year and all the photo ops!

Last night, Bryan and I decided to go to HHN and not do any houses. We took in all the scare zones, ate, drank, rode a couple rides, and took lots of pics. I grabbed some merch and we went to the Dead Coconut Club for the first time.

Every year I go for one night with Express and spend the night running around from house to house, never getting to just take it all in. Last night, we did 🖤🤘

Tonight... RIP Tour! Stay tuned for my review tomorrow!

New 2025 Disney After Hours Dates Revealed!

Here are the dates for the 2025 After Hours events. These limited ticket events allow guests to enter the parks as early as 7pm and stay 3 hours after park closing for lower wait times for rides and characters as well as unlimited ice cream, popcorn, soda, and water.

The M Family is setting sail on the Carnival Elation from Jacksonville today!

They'll be stopping in Freeport, Bahamas 🇧🇸

Freeport is the main city on Grand Bahama, an island in the northwest Bahamas off the Florida coast. It's best known for the oceanfront Lucaya district, with beaches, resorts and shopping. Nearby, Deadman's Reef is popular for snorkeling, and the surrounding offshore waters host many dive sites. Up the coast, Lucayan National Park features extensive underwater caves, plus kayaking and nature trails.

Disney Destiny Maiden Voyage and Booking Date Revealed!

The Disney Destiny will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Nov. 20, 2025. Not only will this special four-night cruise be the first opportunity for guests to experience all this ship has to offer, but it will also include stops at both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations in The Bahamas – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point!

The maiden voyage will be followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. A couple weeks ago, I went to Las Vegas for a long weekend. We started at the Flamingo in a suite, but had a hot water issue that could not be fixed during our stay.

Caesars Rewards worked with us to move us next door to the Cromwell, where I had never stayed before.

This is a very small (by Vegas standards) hotel and casino that shares amenities with the Flamingo next door. It's got a dark, moody New Orleans vibe that I instantly fell in love with 🖤

Travel Tip Tuesday: Halloween Horror Nights Edition

Every year I am asked the same question:

Is Express Pass needed/worth it for Halloween Horror Nights?

My answer: this photo.

That's a line. A regular standby line. A line in the hot, humid FL summer that you'll stand in for 1, maybe 2 hours to walk through a 5-7 minute house.

There are 10 houses... HHN opens at 6:30 until 2am... that's 7.5 hours- the math ain't mathing 😅 Especially if you want to see the shows, eat the food, enjoy the scare zones and don't forget about RIDES.

Is Express Pass worth it? I'd NEVER go without it.

Why are you not booking your vacations/trips with me?

Unfortunately, pages don't allow me to add a poll or I would, but is it because:

1. You book with another travel agent (if so, YAY!!!)
2. You didn't know I could book "that"?
3. You think it will cost more money?

I would like to know your reasons so I can be more intentional with my messaging because:

1. You should use a travel agent (me or someone else) no matter what.
2. I can book ALMOST anything, and if I can't, or there is a better price elsewhere, I will tell you.
3. It almost NEVER costs more money to book with me. There are some things I charge a fee for, but only things I do not earn any commission on.

So, tell me why you are going on trips/vacations and not booking them through me!
