My name is Katie and I’m the Production Manager here

My favorite kit is the lotion kit because making your own lotion at home is just magical.

I love coffee, gardening, baking, true crime shows, and given the opportunity I will eat cake for breakfast.

So to answer your question: I wonder if there are really live people working there or if computers just send out the orders. I am in fact a real live woman and no, I will not be sending out 10 free packages of kefir grains because you sent the order through our website. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 Nice try though!

Hi 👋 I’m Katie!

The Production Manager and this is me hamming it up in the office with my to do for the week. I love 💕 making lists.

This is only one of my jobs rn. I’m also the manager of the , payroll mistress + admin assistant and a yoga teacher in my spare time .joy.yoga.

I have always loved crafting and making things. My favorite things to make here are the diy kits! Candles and lip balm are SUPER easy to make with the diy kits!! 💕 Least favorite task: packing scoby. 😂💀

Studio Tour, Part I.

1. Meet our humble home, tucked away in a quiet corner of Northampton, Massachusetts. We used to live right across the street, but have since moved our home to Florence. So every time I come to the studio I say hello to our family's first home!

2. A delightful rainbow to greet you!

3. Our door is always open. Self-service, contact-free pickup is available for local orders from our front vestibule. This little room is so darn handy, it is my very favorite feature of our studio.

4. Our little tree is not very little anymore! This happy orange tree was a gift from an old friend. She started it (and 9 others) from the seeds of a miniature orange she picked up off the floor in the Smith Botanical Garden's greenhouse. Someday I hope it will grow some teensy oranges of its own. Just be careful, citrus trees have large, well camouflaged thorns. They'll getcha!

5. Hey, Blue Boy! I love this painting. It's a 1960's paint-by-numbers of the famous Rococo portrait by Gainsborough. I picked it up back in 2007 from a fellow Freecycler in Brooklyn when I was outfitting my very first apartment. Blue Boy and I, we've had some good times 💙

I made a pie chart! Mmmmm… pie 🥧!!

I thought it would be fun and interesting to keep a spreadsheet of the wholesale orders for the holiday season. 🤓
This practice also kept me focused and on task without feeling overwhelmed which was great.
