ADF Dance Academy INNOVATION IN DANCE

ALEXANDRA GALE This is just a small part of the ADF story and what we are about.

Professional Dancer and Brit School Graduate Alexandra Gale teamed up with a Ministry of Sound DJ in 2012 to launch the innovative dance and fitness company – Alexandra Dance Fitness. Fast forward to today and the ADF Dance Academy is what we are known as; a successful and exciting Academy that provides inspirational learning experiences for those who simply just want to enjoy dancing or aspiring

dancers to shape their future in dance. The ethos of ADF is simple and one that is promoted throughout; no matter who you are the door is always open with inclusive learning through mutual respect and equality in an environment created to be enjoyable, friendly and pure with all students feeling at ease to be themselves, build great friendships and have fun. Encouraging all abilities to be a part of the ADF journey and success with the progressive route provided for dedicated students to become part of the Academy Elite Team, Dance Crew or Cheerleading Squad aimed at nurturing versatile and passionate individuals with highly tuned creative and performance skills ready for entry into competitions such as Dance Challenge UK and I.C.E where ADF were crowned Grand Champions to ‘So You Want To Dance’ finalists and ‘UK Starz’ winners, as well as major performance opportunities at Her Majesty’s Theatre London and on the Strictly Come Dancing stage at The Blackpool Opera House Winter Gardens. The company is also proud to have featured in Vanity Fair as a result of the creative fitness classes and inspiring Dance Academy in Italy, gaining it’s proud reputation for outstanding performances internationally as well as in the UK. PINEAPPLE DANCE STUDIOS DAY TRIP ~ Photos from our October day trip to Pineapple Dance Studios. A fun filled dancing day, including a dance session in the professional rehearsal & recording studio 79, tour of the venue & shopping in the Pineapple Dance fashion store.

Looking forward to our next day trips taking place in December. The Pineapple Christmas trips that always feel that extra bit special, with the venue decorated Christmasy & Covent Garden lit up for the festive time of the year 😊💃🍍

ADF DANCER OF THE YEAR ~ Congratulations & a very special mention to ADF Dancer of the year, Lotte Johnson.

This brilliant achievement was acknowledged at the ADF 12 year celebration event, where Lotte delivered a great performance with myself, along with 20 other routines from her 4 weekly Dance Academy classes. Including ADF Elite, where at just nearly the age of 11, Lotte trains beyond her years in the advanced level with senior students.

Lotte is a phenomenal student with dance in her heart, embodying the true essence of dedication & passion. Her talent, ethic, lovely manner & humble way, make Lotte an absolute joy to have in classes.

Lotte’s hard work & commitment showcase incredible standards that can be reached, with her ADF journey so far having been nothing short of inspirational.

Thank you to Lotte for chosing the ADF Dance Academy to learn to dance - Keep shining as the superstar you are 💜💃🏆🌟

CELEBRATING 12 ADF YEARS ~ Dancing into the 12th year of the ADF Dance Academy with not a year gone by that I am not grateful to call my passion of dance my job 😊

To everyone who choses to learn & love dance the ADF way, thank you! Dancing since the age of 5 has not only made dance what I do, but part of who I am. Therefore, seeing the enjoyment ADF brings, commitment given to the Dance Academy & progress through the levels is truly fulfilling.

A passion has the power to make you happier when happy & uplifted through anything which is special to have/find, so to have so many find ‘their thing’ in dance with ADF their passion, means the world 💜💃🥳

ADF DANCERS OF THE TERM ~ Congratulations & a BIG well done to students awarded with Dancer of the term for showing commitment, progress & passion throughout this Autumn term in their ADF class. ADF CHRISTMAS DANCE PARTY ~ The last day of the ADF 2023 dancing year spent with some of the ADF junior students with festive fun made up of a Christmassy warm up, 1 off routine taught for the occasion, games with prizes, cupcakes during the party, Cadbury’s selection boxes to take home & prizes for the best dancer throughout the party & stand out performer of our ‘Wish it could be Christmas everyday’ routine.

I hope the Christmassy fun was enjoyed before it was lights out in the studio for this 2023 dancing year, as we now break for Christmas 🎅🏻🎁✨

Wishing everyone a lovely Christmas time & thank you to all for the thought for me with prezzies - It really does mean a lot.
