Because of its relatively small size, Star Flyer can drop anchor in out of the way ports that the big ships can’t reach. On the Corsica and French Riviera itinerary sailing round trip from Cannes, a visit to Plage Saint Antoine in stunning Corsica puts guests in walking distance of a secluded beach surrounded by dramatic mountain ranges. We are pleased to announce our 2025 Eat Smart Culinary and Cultural Tour to Turkey. 🇹🇷

Join culinary experts Joan Peterson and Susan Chwae in getting to the heart of the Turkish culture through an exploration of its tantalizing cuisine. Sample the infinite variety of regional specialties in their natural setting. Delve into the secrets of local dishes by participating in cooking classes. Also included are talks on culinary topics and visits to bustling markets to learn about the herbs, spices and condiments that are prevalent in regional cookery.

We also see the major tourist sights, yet still have time to shop and relax along the way. You’ll come away with a knowledge of the culinary traditions and a deep appreciation of the magnitude of history and culture.

The Eastern part of India is fertile, mysterious and still untouched by the impact of over tourism. A stay at the restored boutique hotels in the countryside of Bengal is an opportunity to visit and experience this area at your pace and interest. There are tribal cultures to be seen, traditions to be experienced, food to be savored and rural vignettes to be photographed.

Pench National Park in Central India, named after a river that cuts through the heart of the jungle and creates a dramatic setting with large boulder like rocks, dotted with teak and ancient varieties of fig trees.

And for those who have not had a chance to experience the spectacular beauty of the Taj Mahal, we've added an extension to the end of this tour.

As part of our culinary experience in Cappadocia we spent the afternoon with .chef.inspire at learning about the local ingredients foraged in the area. We enjoyed an amazing lunch with wine pairings. It was a fantastic culinary experience!

A popular highlight on our culinary tours to Turkey is a private tour of the Güllüoğlu Baklava factory in Istanbul. We get to experience how the dough is created and rolled so incredibly thin before being layered in a pan with freshly ground pistachios or walnuts. It’s then baked and finished with a sugary water bath. Our visit ends in their flagship storefront and restaurant with an endless variety of sweet and savory samples. 🇹🇷 🧿🥰

We see all the culturally significant sites, while also exploring what brings cultures together, through an exploration of the cuisine. We dine at specially curated establishments and hand pick the menus to enhance the regional specialties.
