The rowlock of the future costs a little bit more but saves in the long run. It employs hardened 316 SS and black polypropelene for a low friction bearing which will not corrode or wear. How about that: Sometimes my rowlocks could fracture at low temperature, so Murray a South African at my plastics moulders suggested using a copolymer and now they are unbreakable at any temperature. Experts say:"In the case of an amorphous (without structure)polymer the glass transition temperature will define whether a material is glass-like or rubbery. If the polymer crystallises rubbery behaviour is limited .
The ability to crystallise is determined by the regularity of its molecular structure. Regular structures can crystallise. Ethylene-propylene copolymer makes crystallisation a difficult process and a rubbery material results. So no more fractures, wonderful. Can you see now why I love science? Wasn't I lucky to run into Murray.

Give me a break, I read reams and reams of newsprint about how wonderful Taylor swift is (2 Pges in todays Australian) and how she is the most important woman in the world but I have never heard a song that grabs me. We now have a generation that does not trust its own judgment so we have to listen to s**t that the promoters foist on the young and impressionable. And her lyrics? Kindergarten stuff masquerading as deep and meaningful.

"Solar panels on the roof charging your car overnight." No kidding, that is our PM patronising us like we are idiots. But who is th real idiot. Incidentally I could have told Twiggy Forest his green hydrogen was bulls**t along with sending solar electricity about 4000 km under water to Singapore. God help us is all I can say. They could though make aluminium for this "free" electricity but they are closing the one Aluminium plant down.
