So let's give a little detail about each one:

💭 Purpose of the vacation - First, you should tell yourself what is the purpose or your goal from the vacation, as a very important part of the hotel selection process. It means simple: If you are on a honeymoon then you should think about classifying the trip as a romantic trip and then turning to spa hotels, boutique hotels or hotels that do not have children.
If you are on a business trip then hotels close to the airport will be more suitable or quiet hotels where you can rest between meetings.
If you are flying with the whole family then you should think about classifying the trip as a family trip and looking for hotels with water sports, a children's camp and babysitting services, playgrounds and swimming pools.
The specification is actually the same services that the hotel offers its guests such as pool, spa, business lounge, etc.

💰 Budget - The simplest part is setting a maximum price for the room.

👶 Flying with a baby abroad soon?
👶 Would you like to take your sweetness abroad but are afraid?

All the information needed for a flight with the baby right here 👇

I'll share with you that we flew with a 4 month old baby, and everything went really well, so it's completely possible

Before the flight:

* Ordering tickets - The question of which part of the plane is better to sit has two approaches: first-line enthusiasts prefer to use cradles installed in front and also like to have more comfortable entry and exit. On the other hand, there are those who prefer the back seats that are close to the bathroom and sometimes they have empty seats.
When booking tickets, update the flight company that you are flying with a baby, and ask for a seat that suits you best.

* Options and procedures when flying with a baby - airlines explain on their site what options and procedures when traveling with a baby. We recommend reading and asking for clarifications if questions arise.

Vaccination - check if special vaccinations are needed for the baby in the country you are traveling to.

If you do not, you will need to pack enough.

Field and Flight:

* Warm clothes and blankets - the plane is usually cold. It's good to have an extra layer of clothes and a blanket at the ready.

* Carrier and / or carriage - A carrier can help at any stage - at the airport, on the plane and during the trip. If you also took a cart, do not forget to wrap it in your bag and attach a sticker with your details.

* Diapers, diaper surface, wipes and plastic bags

* A baby food compound if you are not breastfeeding

* Boiled water - although the plane will let you if you ask, do not always wait to wait for the stewardess service.

* Ear sensitivity - in preparation for takeoff and landing it is best to give the baby a pacifier or a bottle of water, or alternatively breastfeed him if you are breastfeeding.
The act of suction will ease in a state of earache. If the baby is sleeping - do not wake him up for a pacifier or a bottle.

* Soft toys - one or two especially loved for game and relaxation

* A tetra and flannel diaper that you can lay out when you want to put your baby down, and also as a substitute for a towel when needed

* Medicines, thermometer, medical insurance. Hope you do not have to, of course ..

Lots of people ask me about Crete, and whether it can be suitable for a holiday with children. The answer is yes, definitely! 👨👩👧👦

There are hotels and clubs with pools and lots of activities and attractions, such as beautiful and sunny beaches, amusement and water parks, museums and a variety of historical sites.
What else is needed? 👌🏻

Crete has a wide range of hotels suitable for couples, families with babies, families with little children, families with adolescents ..
Well, you got it ... everyone can find what to do on the island!
Most hotels offer plenty of pools, gym and spa, children's club, access to the beach, restaurants, mini-market, concerts and more.

🚗 If you are planning a vacation that does not include only beaches and pools, you may want to rent a car to get around easily and see lots of places. Crete is a large island offering lots of tourist attractions. Gas prices are high and around 1.5 euros per liter, but as noted, driving with a vehicle offers a tremendous advantage of flexibility in the route and comfort, especially with children.

If you are not interested in renting a car, you can take excursions / day tours to many places and attractions on the island through the hotel or through local agencies.

📌 So let's talk business - what should be done in Crete?

Throughout the island you can find lots of attractions for children, here are some of them:

🏊♀️ Water City Water Park, which offers 34 water and amusement facilities, such as: various slides, Omegas, wave pools, tubs and many attractions. The cost of entrance is according to the height of the children - children up to 1.4 meters - 18.5 Euros, under 90 cm - Free Over 1.4 pay 27 euros (considered adult)

🎤 Later in the day, if you are not tired of the water park, you can drive to the Greek village of Mochos. The road there is beautiful and the view is amazing. In the center of the village there are a number of taverns where the locals live. One of them is Nikos's tavern, and sometimes there is also a Greek performance. Every Wednesday there is an authentic Greek evening in the village's main square.

🐠🦈🐢 Crete Aquarium, where you can see different types of fish typical of the Mediterranean waters. The aquarium also has giant sharks, sea turtles, octopus and jellyfish. The aquarium is located in Heraklion and can be reached by car or by public transport. Prices: EUR 9 per adult, child (ages 5-17) 6 EUR. Children up to 5 years old enter for free.

50 km east you will reach Agios Nikolaos, where you will find cafes, restaurants, taverns and a variety of shops, and it is very nice to explore.
From there you can drive north to Elounda where you can take a 20-minute ferry ride to Spinalonga - L***r Island.

If you choose to sleep in the Heraklion area, you can also go on a circular route to western Crete.
75 km and you are in Brittanyno, a nice port city with plenty of restaurants, shops and entertainment options.The city is the narrow and beautiful alleys of the old city and you can continue to the city of Chania, a beautiful city that is said to be the most beautiful city on the island. ,
But it can also last a few days.

Kournas Lake, also known as the Hidden Lake. The lake is located not far from the main road of Crete, on the road from Heraklion to the capital city of Chania. Entrance to the lake is free and you can rent pedal boats with small water slides and enjoy a pleasant experience in the waters of the blue lake. Adjacent to the lake are several restaurants and souvenir shops.

You can also visit the coastal town of Plakias where you will find coffee shops, restaurants and lovely beaches. Not far from the town is Damnoni Beach - a sandy, pastoral and quiet beach with a water sports center and horse riding.

The bottom line, no matter where you choose to sleep, no matter if you turn east or west, you will always find attractions and fun places to visit in Crete 😍
