I am at Disney World this week for our agency conference and I am staying at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in a 1 Bedroom Villa. This is one of the few resorts I have not stayed in yet and I’m so excited to check it out!

Here is a recap of my weekend on the Space Coast:
1. Arrive a day or two early for your cruise and not only do you remove the stress of getting to the port on time on a busy travel day, but you allow for a fun adventure to the Kennedy Space Center or something else just as fun on the coast!
2. There are a lot of great hotel options near the port with shuttle service so you don’t even have to worry about that step of the trip!
3. The Kennedy Space Center is just as amazing as I thought it would be. Honestly, if you want to see everything you could use two days….
4. If you are lucky enough to be around during a launch-watch it! It was so cool!!
5. There is a lot to do on the coast…the space center, dolphin tours, the zoo, and more!
6. Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has sailings and cruise ships for everyone. Let’s find the perfect one for you!

Home2 Suites is another excellent option for a pre-cruise or post-cruise stay. It is literally minutes from the port, can include a “park and cruise” feature, offers breakfast and a shuttle to the port for a fee. It’s also a short drive from the Kennedy Space Center so that would be an easy addition to your vacation as well! The rooms are very modern and spacious with a kitchen area. There is a pool, patio with grill, laundry services, and more!

The Wonder of the Seas is the largest cruise ship to sail the ocean and boy oh boy does it pack a punch. There is so much to see and do you need all 7 nights/8 days just to explore the ship! More to follow in the coming days but just to name a few things…rock climbing walls, 6 pools, 10 story slides, miniature golf, basketball courts, a karaoke bar, a carousel, 2 casinos (one that’s non-smoking!), an ice rink, a live theater, a zip line, and more!!!
