This summer, Disney Springs will host a nighttime drone show called “Disney Dreams That Soar”! It will showcase Disney stories celebrating the joy of flight. What a cool experience on a night away from the parks! Disney Springs is always on my must-do list and this will be an even better reason to visit. Disney California Adventure Spotlight- Grand Finale!! World of Color is one of my favorite nighttime shows at any Disney Park. I love the lighting, projections and music. With Pixar Pier as a backdrop, it really makes for a wonderful way to end your day at Disney California Adventure!!
Disney California Adventure Spotlight! Once again, I saved my favorite land for last- Cars Land!! I am going to feature the cutest little town in Carburetor County, Radiator Springs! Cars Land feels like you just stepped into the movie Cars. It’s got all your favorite characters from the movie and includes 3 rides- Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Radiator Springs Racers. Make sure to visit Cars Land at night too to see all the neon!!
Disney California Adventure Spotlight! “Avengers, Assemble!” Today I am featuring Avengers Campus for all my Marvel lovers! This area has 2 great rides: Guardians of the Galaxy- Mission: BREAKOUT! and WEBSLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. It also has several chances a day to see your favorite Marvel characters including in shows such as The Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble!, and Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts. There is lots to see and do for everyone at Avengers campus!!
Disney California Adventure Spotlight! Today we take a look at 2 lands- San Fransokyo Square and Pixar Pier! San Fransokyo Square is an homage to one of my favorite Disney movies, Big Hero Six. It has lots of great places to eat and The Bakery Tour. Pixar Pier is, you guessed it, a tribute to all things Pixar! It has some great rides including Jessie’s Critter Carousel, Toy Story Midway Mania, Pixar Pal-A-Round, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and my personal favorite, Incredicoaster! It also has Games of Pixar Pier where you can win a fun Pixar souvenir. Lots of great theming at both lands makes these areas do-not-miss experiences!
Disney California Adventure Spotlight! Today we are visiting Paradise Gardens Park. This area is themed like a seaside amusement park. It has several rides including Silly Symphony Swings, Goofy’s Sky School, Jumpin’ Jellyfish, Golden Zephyr, and The Little Mermaid- Ariel’s Undersea Adventure. So there is fun for all ages!
Disney California Adventure Spotlight! If you take a right off Buena Vista Street, you will enter Grizzly Peak and celebrate the great outdoors! Grizzly Peak is home to 2 rides- Grizzly River Run (you will get wet!) and Soarin’. It also has a great interactive play area, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. I think all ages need to visit this trail since it has lots of fun areas to explore! As a special bonus for guests staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Resort & Spa, there is a special entrance that lead right into Grizzly Peak. This is a main reason I love staying there!
Disney California Adventure spotlight! This week we go right next door to Disneyland and visit Disney California Adventure! I will call it DCA often and you will see why I love this park! DCA is a tribute to, you guessed it, California! It starts with a walk down Buena Vista Street and a left turn gets you into Hollywood Land. You will first see some great architecture reminiscent of old Hollywood, Carthay Circle Restaurant, and Red Car Trolley. When you hit Hollywood Land, you can experience some favorites like Animation Academy, Disney Junior Dance Party, Mickey’s Philharmagic, and Turtle Talk with Crush. Then at the end, you get to ride Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue! Such a fun ride!
Disneyland Spotlight: Grand Finale!! Two wonderful experiences happen daily at Disneyland. Magic Happens parade just returned in February and has floats from popular Disney movies such as Moana, Coco and Frozen 2. Mickey’s Mix Magic is a nightly projection show/dance party that lights up Main Street, Sleeping Beauty Castle and “it’s a small world”. On weekends and peak times, it will also include fireworks. As an added bonus, Disneyland is bringing back Wondrous Journeys from March 22-April 14. This nighttime firework show celebrates the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Studios. All of these are great reasons to book your trip to Disneyland ASAP so contact me today!
Disneyland Spotlight! I saved my favorite land for last- Fantasyland!! I love Fantasyland in Disneyland for the nostalgic feel it gives me back to my childhood. It truly is magical for me! Fantasyland consists of many of the most iconic rides: Peter Pan’s Flight, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, and Pinocchio’s Daring Journey just to name a few. It also has a thrill ride with Matterhorn Bobsleds. And I can’t forget my childhood favorite, “it’s a small world”! With so much to do and experience, it is no wonder it is my favorite and you must see it too!!
Disneyland Spotlight! Mickey’s Toontown was reimagined in 2023 and is a great land for all ages! It has 3 fun rides Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster, and Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin. It also has some immersive houses including Mickey’s House, Minnie’s House, Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard, and Donald’s Duck Pond. Make sure meet some beloved characters while you visit Toontown also!
