Looking for an affordable safari in Botswana and can travel in October 2024? One of my favorite partners has an incredible offer for you.

Peak season, when wildlife viewing is at its best. Prime game viewing areas in private concessions in Okavango Delta, plus Chobe National Park. This is ~65% off regular rates for this itinerary!

For $5,275 per person, you get an 8-night package, including stays at three lodges: three nights in the Delta (Private Concession), another three nights in the Delta (another Private Concession), and two nights in Chobe (Chobe National Park).

The package includes all game drives, accommodations, meals, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and even flights between lodges, starting in Maun and ending in Kasane.

Of course, the dates are subject to availability, but if you are flexible, I'm confident we can find something for you.

Based on the weather patterns, game viewing is supposed to be excellent this year. This is from my partner's Guide Trainer/eyes-on-the-ground:

"Based on the lack of local rains and lower floods from Angola, our assumption for this year is that the sightings will be exceptional from September to November.

We have started getting large herds of buffalos and elephants coming down for water, which is a clear indication that the natural waterholes are dry. The only water source is the floodplains that have just received the floodwaters. As soon as this water starts receding, these floodplains will become herbivores' preferred feeding grounds, attracting big cats and African wild dogs. All the Delta camps will experience a lot of predator interaction!"

About Our Founder

Travel has been Inga’s passion since her parents took her to Georgia and Abkhazia, and then to Uzbekistan as a child. Although she dreamed of becoming a flight attendant and then a ship captain to quench her wanderlust, her career path has initially taken her in a different direction. After receiving a Master’s degree from the University of Georgia (the state, not the country!), Inga spent 20 years at top advertising agencies in New York before becoming a Luxury Travel Advisor.

A tireless explorer, Inga is drawn to destinations that allow one to get close to wildlife (Galapagos Islands, Borneo, Costa Rica) or marvel at wonders of nature (Tasmania, Patagonia). Cultures different from her own fascinate her (Bhutan, including homestays with 2 local families in remote villages, has been her #1 travel experience to date, and Iran is #1 on her bucket list).

For Inga, getting to the destination is an integral part of the travel experience. Having mastered the art of collecting and redeeming airline miles and credit card points, most of her flights (and all of the long haul ones) are in Business or First class for very little out- of- pocket. She uses this knowledge to devise the best miles redemption strategies for her clients and advises on best routing, seats, airlines, and aircraft types, either for a fee, or complimentary with certain trip bookings.
