I will find you the perfect cottage or rental in the ideal location that not only fits your needs, but is guaranteed to make you smile…a lot (may even cause a little giddiness). A few miles east or west will make a big difference. A track further inland could possible create a Hurricane Irene scenario, with southwest winds putting pressure on the back side of northern Hatteras Island.

The National Park Service says it happened around 2:40 p.m. Monday south of Salvo on Hatteras Island.
