It was an incredible trip along the Colorado River that we topped off with a visit to Arches National Park. As of today, we’ve gotten our second shots ( 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) and the itch to travel again is getting stronger and stronger. It’ll still be a few months before we go anywhere major, but it’s definitely time to start dreaming and answering the toughest question: where should we go?! 🧳✈️🌏 Any suggestions?

Are you more of a 🏔 person or a 🏖 person?

I always thought I was a beach person, but I think that’s because the beach was all I really experienced as a kid. If we weren’t traveling to the east coast to see family, we were going to Florida (like every other Midwestern family 😂). As I got older, I realized I don’t actually like going to the beach that much. I love the ocean and being by the water, but the whole deal of packing all your stuff, carting it onto the sand, setting up, getting all sandy, then doing it all again in reverse is so much work! Being in Banff in 2019 definitely opened my eyes to the beauty of the mountains. 😍

Yesterday was our 4th #weddinganniversary. We spent some time reflecting on everything we’ve done in the last 4 years: quit our jobs, bought & sold a house, bought another house, visited 24 countries, started 2 businesses… It’s been a wild ride but it’s safe to say, we love our life together. We’ve done and seen so much, but these videos are from just the past 20 days in #bali.

We spent a day with a local family in #bali! They led us around a traditional market and we picked up ingredients for our lunch. They then welcomed us into their home and taught us how to cook Balinese spiced chicken, potato cakes, long green beans, and a yummy dessert called Dadar Gulung. It was wonderful learning about their family, traditions, and daily life. #onasojrn #sojrnbali
