Ladies on the Fly Promoting and providing opportunities for women of all skill levels in the sport of fly fishing.

This group is all about promoting women to get outdoors and pick up a fly rod! Fishing isn't just about catching fish, it is about connecting with nature, connecting with yourself, and connecting with other like-minded people... oh yeah, and FUN! On this page you will find information about fishing tips & tricks, fun fishing opportunities, inspirational stories & pictures and a way to connect with

other like minded women. The Ladies on the Fly started as an annual, all woman's fly-fishing trip on the McKenzie River in Oregon. Beginning in 2009, this wonderful group of fun, classy women come together with the shared love of fly fishing and the outdoors. Each participant brings their own unique charm and knowledge to the group. The Ladies on the Fly annual McKenzie River trip is comprised of two full days of drift boat fly fishing with top-notch professional guides. Each day riverside lunches of fresh-caught trout and fresh made salads are served as the girls relax in lawn chairs on the river bank. All three nights of the event are spent at Wayfarer Resort with creek and river side cabin accommodations and deluxe dinners prepared by the Helfrich Outfitters crew. Evening activities include fly casting practice, socializing, relaxing around the campfire and wine tasting as you watching the river float by.
