Are you ready for a change? Want your office to be Yosemite Valley or the rolling hills of wine country? Want to surround yourself with fellow adventurers and live in beautiful San Francisco?

I was a tour leader for 4 years earning a living by taking people on trips to once in a lifetime destinations. This career path changed my life. Now, I'm the Operations Manager at Incredible Adventures, the Greenest Tour Company in SF. Even better-- I'm also now in charge of hiring and recruiting new leaders who have a passion for the outdoors and sharing this beautiful land with others.

Interested? You're in luck! I still have a couple spots left on our Tour Leader-to-be Training Trip beginning on April 8th. During Week 1 you'll learn everything there is to know about working with us. During Week 2 we will hit the open road and show you what it takes to lead successful and memorable tours for others. Trust me, it's a lot of work, but once you pass (our paid) training, you'll be spending your days in Yosemite, Tahoe, Big Sur, Wine Country and more!

Ready to take the big leap and head to San Francisco in just a couple weeks?! Check out our recruitment website here to apply: https://increcruitment.squarespace.com. Or you contact me via Facebook or at [email protected].

Come join our crew in the most exciting and rewarding industry out there!

Newest post reflecting on slowly down, settling in and spending six months in New Orleans.

Before our trip to Italy, I thought it would be easy to find hundreds of articles on renting a car and driving through Tuscany. Instead, I just found hundreds of articles telling me NOT to do so, and to just take the train instead.

I'm so glad we didn't listen! Our Italian countryside road trip was one of the most fabulous parts of our visit to Italy this fall.

The way this trip came to be is a fun one. While on the road leading tours, my boyfriend and I were anxious to plan a vacation to follow our long work season. He had spent all summer in Alaska and I was still working down in the Lower 48. We decided to both pick …

The newest post in quite a while-- and why it's taken me so long.

A few years ago, after teaching English abroad and before my current job, my main professional focus was travel blogging and social media. When not physically traveling, it took up the majority of my time. I posted frequently, grew a successful Instagram account and got to do a lot of amazing things...

Most images of Tuscany are of green rolling hills. For us, it was quite different. In Southern Tuscany during the fall the fields are all tilled. So yeah, it's all just dirt, but it sure is beautiful dirt 😝

Historic farmhouses turned relaxing Bed & Breakfasts are scattered all around Umbria and Tuscany. We stayed at one with the most pleasant owners, beautiful rooms in a huge old stone home and green rolling hills in all directions. The breakfasts were homemade to-die-for cakes, breads and jam and dinner was so delicious, cooked with produce from their garden. I wanted to stay forever!

Just an hour outside Rome are the most amazing medieval hilltop villages I never knew existed until we rented a car and drove into the countryside. This one in particular was spectacular. Slowly eroding away, the city walls are continuously sliding off the mountain. Sadly, it won't be around forever 😱

Although roads only cover 2% of Yellowstone National Park, you can see an astounding amount of wildlife from them. In the past three days, I've seen grizzlies NINE times, two black bear cubs, two moose, bighorn sheep, a female wolf and pups (through a scope), two coyotes, great horned owl chicks, elk and bison! Of course, I've been insanely lucky and it's not always like this. Here is the 'construction sow', a female grizzly who has been frequenting the area of road between Mammoth and Norris. 🐻⚠️

One of the many reasons I think South Dakota is actually really cool. Yes it's true, SD is not just prairie land! I've been spending the last 4 nights exploring the Black Hills and the Badlands, and it's been so much more scenic than I remembered!

I get asked regularly about how much my trip to Cuba cost and how to get a visa as an American. Finally, I've compiled it into a blog post along with my take on visiting the country, if it is for you (hint: it's not for everyone!) and how to find more information.

Since taking people on road trips is my job, it can be pretty easy for me to forget how amazing some of these places are, especially when I'm tired or preoccupied with logistical matters. Other times, the most random moments can lead to repeated astonishment. Delicate Arch was recently one of them. It's been about 9 months since I've been here and when I saw it, it almost felt like the first time.

When I'm leading tours, 95% of the time I'm also doing all the driving. Luckily, last time I got to lead with my boyfriend. This gave me the chance to look away from the road and take pictures for once. 🤓📸 A lot of passengers sleep when we're driving, but you miss out on so much. Out the window there's so much to see!
