Did you know that just as humans have their unique fingerprints, each zebra has its own unique pattern of stripes?

Did you also know that there are also two zebra migrations, one of which is the longest mammal migration in Africa? During these annual events, as the seasons change, mass herds of these little striped steads cover an impressive stretch of more than 300 miles across Namibia and Botswana. It's an incredible sight to see first-hand as thousands of zebbies kick up plumes of dust as they move from one grazing area to the next.

African Bush Camps (ABC) own & operate 17 safaris camps in Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Zambia. Their properties range from down-to-earth tented camps to ultra-luxury lodges, always with an emphasis on sustainability, authentic service and exceptional experiences. They are known for having some of the best safari guides in the business, always ensure guests are well cared for while creating memories to last a lifetime. From honeymoon getaways, to bucket list travel, to multi-gen and family experiences, ABC takes pride in offering accommodation and services that cater to a wide range of travelers – and exceeding expectations time and time again.

In addition to learning about ABCs’ safari properties and services (including the newest addition to their portfolio, the beautiful Lolebezi Lodge in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park), we will be speaking about our sister company, the African Bush Camps Foundation (ABCF). ABCF is a non-profit that supports a number of local projects under its 3 pillars: community empowerment, education, and conservation. Funded in part by ABC, but mainly by donors, the Foundation works to improve conditions for communities and wildlife in these 3 countries, making a positive impact for generations to come.

For a look into the interconnectedness of tourism (ABC) and community/conservation (ABCF), check out this video which beautifully captures the impact we can make, together - African Bush Camp Foundation - Our WHY - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4br6FvdAMA&list=PL2opwvGi48bZqxU0i1pYHc7yC00fZN7yZ

Tuk-tuking across Africa for good cause. Now that's cool!

If you want to give back this December, look no further than Tuk South, a high-spirited expedition raising money for Africa's rangers. Robbie, Josh, Jasper, and Ivo are currently heading from Kenya to Cape Agulhas (South Africa) in two Piaggio tuk tuks. Their mission? Bringing awareness to anti-poaching efforts and honoring those who risk their lives to protect Africa's wildlife and wild spaces. The team has now tuk-tuked to Botswana with no sign of slowing down!

Meet the stars of Penguin Town (on Netflix)!

Head to Boulders Beach in Cape Town for the chance to chill alongside an eclectic African penguin colony. Dressed to the nines in their black and white 'tuxedos', these much-adored little birds really know how to draw a crowd. Although you can catch their shenanigans on their Netflix docuseries, how about watching them waddle around during your next trip to South Africa? Nowhere else in the world are you able to be this close to African penguins! See the trailer here

You’ve never met penguins like these before. Forget ice and snow, this rowdy colony of African penguins are hitting the sun-drenched beaches and breaking all...

As Charles Baudelaire once wrote: “One should always be drunk. That's all that matters.” But with what? With wine, with poetry or with virtue, as you choose. By getting drunk we’re going to assume Chuck really meant drunk on good wine & by drunk we mean safely buzzed (and not operating any...
