Ride TRON via the Standby Line Beginning Sept 9! 🏍✨

Beginning Sep. 9, guests can "enter the grid" and experience TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom either through a standby ("regular") queue OR as a purchased Lightning Lane Single Pass experience. TRON will no longer be available via a Virtual Queue after Sept 8.

New Villains Show Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Summer 2025!

Just announced, an all-new live production starring everyone's favorite Disney Villains will debut next summer! The show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers, with fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent each breaking through the glass to take the stage in live production numbers.

This new show will replace Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy, so be sure to speed on over to Sunset Showcase at Disney's Hollywood Studios for another lap around the track before it closes October 7.

Just Announced: 2025 Disney After Hours Dates! 🌙🍿🎢

Disney After Hours is back at Walt Disney World Resort for 2025, offering late-night adventures for guests and their families. These separately ticketed events are limited to a select number of guests, allowing them to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT after they officially close for the day. Guests can start their night as early as 7 p.m. and stay three hours after the parks close, experiencing shorter wait times for attractions, meeting some of their favorite characters, and indulging in snacks like ice cream, popcorn, and select drinks. Here are the dates:

Magic Kingdom:

January 6, 13, 20 and 27
February 3, 10, 17 and 24
March 3, 17, 24 and 31
April 7 and 28
May 5, 12 and 19

Hollywood Studios:

January 22 and 29
February 12 and 19
March 5 and 26

Introducing... the Disney Destiny! 🛳✨⚓️💥

Launching in 2025, the newest member of the Disney Cruise Line fleet will be dedicated to all-things heroes and villains! Marvel fans will love the new spaces and experiences inspired by Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Tony Stark and the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, the Avengers. In addition to these new offerings, the Disney Destiny will also feature guest-favorite venues, entertainment and recreation found aboard its sister ships, the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure.

The Disney Destiny will sail year-round from Fort Lauderdale, FL beginning in November 2025. The ship will embark on an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean, including visits to one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations – Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay.

The rooms and spaces are gorgeous, I can't wait to experience it in person!

On the heels of yesterday's JetBlue announcement, which will add non-stop flights from MHT to MCO, today Southwest announced it is making some changes of its own. Beginning likely next year, Southwest will offer assigned seats and premium seating options, doing away with its longstanding open-seating policy. Today, the new system to skip the regular lines at most attractions across Walt Disney World, went live… and it’s GREAT! Now, you can purchase and book up to three Multi Pass Lightning Lane selections and up to two Single Pass Lightning Lane selections for EVERY day of your trip BEFORE you arrive. Pool break? Yes, please! ☀️💦🌴
Do not underestimate the importance of a great pool during your Disney vacation! I always recommend taking a pool break EVERY afternoon so everyone can rest and recharge. Staying at a Disney Resort that is located more conveniently to the parks makes this very doable. Then, head back to the parks later when it’s cooler and less crowded.

Reminder: Lightning Lane Changes this Week! ⚡️

On Wed, 7/24, Walt Disney World will introduce Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass, replacing Genie+. Depending on the attraction, both options will allow you to skip the regular lines and access your favorite attractions faster via the Lightning Lane across all four theme parks. Best of all, Disney Resort Guests can make their selections up to 7 days prior to check-in, so you're good to go onsite.

If you are traveling with little ones, and/or want quick access to Magic Kingdom, this is where you want to be! Having convenient modes of transportation (monorail, boat, or walk) will not only save you time, but also your sanity, as it will allow you to take that much-needed pool break every afternoon back at your fabulous resort.

Yep, you guessed it, I’m back at the beautiful Disney’s Beach Club resort, but staying in the villas this time, in a spacious and newly-renovated two bedroom villa. These villas offer home-away-from home accommodations with king master bedroom and large master bath, second bedroom with two queens and second full bath with two sinks, full kitchen, living/dining area with new pull-down queen (replacing the pullout couch - amazing!), and washer/dryer. The villas even have their own quiet pool. We are never leaving!

Where should you stay on your next Walt Disney World trip? Well if convenience is important to you, listen up: Today was spent touring the gorgeous EPCOT area resorts! I recommend the following Disney Resort hotels often because they are all within walking distance to EPCOT and the Disney Skyliner to Hollywood Studios:
🎠 Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas
⚓️ Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
⛱️ Disney’s Beach Club Resort & Villas

We also checked out Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s spectacular Mediterranean-inspired all-villa hotel also located on the Skyliner, with rooms that offer multiple sleeping areas, living/dining areas, and full kitchens.
