Georgia Power come on! Augusta will be without power for more than 10 days. This is not Jamaica after Gilbert when we were stuck and had to eat bully beef for 3 months. I have to drive 2 hours to supply food and all the necessities to my daughter for her to experience my Gilbert. Glad it’s showing her the hardships that we face then. Shops are closed,gas stations are closed food ran out. Yet universities have to continue… We can’t let our children drop out or fail we are the back up. Governor what is your back up?? Fima is not even around to help. Who is paying for all the spoilage of foodstuffs etc. This cost revert to Parents. Come on this is not like Florida that has hurricane damage over and over. This was a category 2 hit what if Augusta got a 4. I am glad my town got spared so I can help by talking on the Governor role yet your house have power and all the amenities are running. I bet if there was a golf tournament in Augusta that the elites had to be Georgia Power would be getting the power immediately. But no light until October 5th. The students can’t come home..No gas to fill up,class is very vital in their field of study,projects are pending,results are important and the people have not seen any help. People is this a top priority by the Government Come on!!!!
