Who we are:

We are a modeling and casting agency. So we aim to provide models with
opportunities in film, on the catwalk, in audio production etc. How much to join? Please note there is a fee of 450 per year to be a member of our agency and
to access its benefits. Why do we pay? I saw on the internet, you should ne

ver pay to join an agency? Well in the US a developed market with lots of transaction happening especially
in large agencies, involving large sums paid for model usage (Tens of thousands of dollars at times), some agencies don't charge for people to join. But unfortunately given the number of transaction in Namibia and that we are trying to build an industry that does not exist, there has to be a charge. Also it shows that a model is committed to their goals and their dreams. We can not take rules that apply to the US and apply them to Namibia where agencies use a different model in order to be viable and become sustainable in the long run

The reason large agencies large Ford and One Management have not entered this market is because of the local market's weakness at this point in time. in the US people pay nothing in some states to deposit and withdraw money, but banks in Namibia charge, that is another example of how markets are different and therefore require different rules even for entities that do exactly the same thing. Where are you located? The principal members are located in Windhoek. We do not rent a building at present due to the fact that such an expense
would have to be recouped from the monies paid by models meaning that
we would have to charge the models for that, further raising the costs of
membership. if models were happy to pay 4500 to join, we would happily rent
a constant space. So what we do is use Facebook and in future a website as our virtual office
instead leaving the physical spaces elsewhere when the need arises. Apart from models already signed up, we tend not to give our numbers
to just anybody. Are you guaranteeing me gigs? No, the very reason agency exists is because of the
fact that no one can guarantee gigs, as too many variables are at play at any one moment. The agency is a statistical bet designed to improve your chances are getting a gig
and in the case of Namibia also to give you advise and developmental efforts to help
you realize your dreams. I want to be on the NewYork catwalk, can you do that for me? Our agency prides itself in being realistic, yes we would love to send
lots of models to NewYork, but reality is far different. What we can do is help improve your chances of getting gigs, learning
about molding and if you have what it takes and were willing to make
the sacrifice, yes get you to New York. The agency will taking pictures of you twice a year, each shoot being
worth more than 450 and further emailing people, calling and talking
to people on your behalf. Are you are an exclusive agency? Can i be in more than one agency? Yes, we allow models to remain members of other agencies
and to also act as freelancers, because we know that the industry
is small and therefore the work is not always so constant and
therefore you need to maximize your options. So what do you offer me? We connect models with more opportunities and options with
regard to they interest in modeling and media. The agency aims to provide more opportunities for you than you would get on
your own and to get higher quality gigs for you then you would get on your
own. We do this through close association to a photographer, and people
who have extensive experience in marketing, advertising and branding in
Namibia and beyond and leverage on their contacts and connections. For that you get a minimum of two shoots a year. And a model card for using to sell you to clients. I am under 18

Unfortunately we do not at present take on
any models younger than 18. I want to know more

due to time pressures. Are you scamming us? We advise all potential models to ask us equations and come to our events as
they occur. And we also advise all models who feel uncomfortable joining us
because of past experiences to feel free to ask others who work with us about us. However if you feel uncomfortable joining, please do not, as we like to work
with people that trust us and that we can trust as well. Cooperation and
co-goal setting is key to making an agency succeed. The agency and the model
must work together to achieve results. Model Behavior:
Is there any circumstance which would lead to a model begin fired or dropped? Yes if a model misrepresented the agency, behaved unprofessionally at a gig or fails to turn up for
mandatory meetings or acts in any manner deemed unhealthy for the agency, such model
will be dropped from Agencia with immediate effect. We further don't condone use of drugs
and engaging in physical violence or property damage. We expect all models to act with integrity, eloquence and energy when dealing
with Agencia matters. Money matters and booking in. You pay 450 to join and be included on our books. Out book is a list of models with pictures and information about
each model that the client can use to make a decision about the
model for a job. Our agency engages in active promotion, so it seeks new work
for its library of talent actively rather than just seating back
and waiting for people to require our services. When work is found for talent. The agency gets a commission
from the job being an amount of 16.5% percent on the amount. So if a job will pay a 100, then 16.5 dollars goes to the agency. Does it matter what time of year I join? No, when you pay, you get membership for a year. A year is 365 days. It is counted in days
not in calendar years. So if you pay in November
, we count 365 days from that November date. I have chronic illness, do i need to tell you? Though we do not need to know, if it impacts your
ability to engage or fulfill a role, it's best you let
us know ask we are aware. We do not
share your information with anyone else. I agreed to a semi n**e shoot? Am i safe? We do not share anything you do not want
shared with others. If you have pictures that
you consider sensitive, we treat them as such. Unless created under commission then the
commissioner of such work would have rights
as granted by the contract you signed with them,.
