Maine: Day 10 spent some time downtown, drove Park Loop one more time and had lunch at Jordan Pond House before heading home! That’s a wrap on Acadia/Bar Harbor. We had the most amazing trip and can’t wait to return!

Maine: Day 9 - back of to Schoodic for sunny views, hysterical attempt at jumping photos (this one was the best 🤣), back to Little Hunter’s Beach (3rd time), then walked around Jordan Pond before hiking up South Bubble to see Bubble Rock. This was definitely the highest up and closest we’ve been to a thunder storm. All was well, but we quickly hiked down. Always an adventure.

Maine Day 8 - core memory day! Sunrise to sunset this was our favorite day in Acadia!

Sunrise at Otter Cliff, back to sleep for a bit, complimentary breakfast and make your own trail mix, then off to hit Bowl Trail to the top of Beehive for stunning Sand Beach views! Back to Little Hunter’s Beach. We took our time this day and made sure we had no where to rush off too. We sat down and overlooked the ocean while chatting and it was magical! Then we made the trip out to Bass Harbor Head Light Station which was so worth it! Back to the room to freshen up and off to dinner. Sunset at Cadillac Mountain with a little family photo shoot (see next post). Ended the day in the pool and hot tub.

Maine: Day 7, part 2 - Walked across the Bar Island land bridge to look for sea creatures, had dinner, then went out to Otter Point for sunset! Incredible day!

Day 7, part 1. We started this full Acadia day at Sand Beach and Great Head trail hike. We then walked Ocean Path and spent a lot of time scrambling out on the rocks. We could have done this all day! We continued the loop and spent some time at Little Hunter Beach, which was definitely a favorite spot for us. All photos are no filter and do not do justice to the beauty of this place.

Maine: Day 6 - we left Machias and started our time in Bar Harbor/Acadia. It was so fun to see the Schoodic Peninsula in the foggy and overcast weather. Most people don’t head over to this part of Acadia and it was pretty empty. We took part in a Ranger activity about nature journaling and explored. We stopped in Trenton for some lobster 🦞 before checking into our hotel.

🌊✨ Sailing into Paradise with RCCL Utopia of the Seas! ✨🌊

We’re over the moon to share that Stacey Singleton Cabell and Kim Howe Motyka, two members of Starstuff Travel, just returned from an unforgettable sailing on the naming ceremony aboard the RCCL Utopia of the Seas!

Both Stacey and Kim were blown away by the entertainment on the ship. "The shows were beyond anything we've ever experienced on a cruise ship, leaving us in awe night after night. The quality and creativity of the performances were simply top-notch" the ladies shared.

Despite the ship's impressive size, they were also pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well-organized it felt. The thoughtful layout and ample space made it easy to find a quiet corner or join in the fun without ever feeling crowded.

One of the highlights was the Windjammer buffet, (everyone loves a good cruise buffet). The variety, quality, and freshness of the food along with the new layout was unmatched, making every meal a delightful experience. Stacey and Kim couldn’t stop raving about how this Windjammer surpasses any other RCCL ship to date.

Day 4: Campobello Island, New Brunswick Canada. FDR’s summer cottage was cool to tour. Eleanor’s Tea was so much fun and we learned a lot about this amazing First Lady.

So many beautiful views! Waiting for low tide to be able to cross over to the lighthouse was amazing and such a unique experience.

Lubec is the cutest little fishing village!

West Quoddy Lighthouse was our favorite! See July 4th post for those photos.

Ended the day with fireworks right outside our hotel in Machias, Maine.
