Today in the show room of Toyota Tanzania Arusha. Our three brand new Land Cruisers have been handed over to us. On Monday the "body builder" will start converting them in two 7-seater and one 5-seater Safari car. In three month they will roam the Serengeti....may be together with you?

CHRISTMAS LUNCH BUFFET FOR OUR LOVELY TEAM OF DRIVER-GUIDES & OUR WT SUPPORT TEAM

Yesterday we had our annual meeting with our English and German-speaking driver guides. It’s a chance for everyone to sit together and discuss the events from the past 12 months and to share ideas on how we can improve our service to our safari guests. We had a very busy and successful year again with very few ‘incidents’ considering the volume of safaris that we ran. A big ‘thank you’ to our wonderful team and especially to our supporting staff: our mechanics & workshop team, our accountants & office staff and, our logistics manager!

Celebrating World Bee Day @ Beetopia!

Our lovely neighbours, Katherine & Warren, have created a wonderful, interactive Bee Centre near Arusha National Park which helps to creative awareness about the importance of bees in our ecosystem. We are hoping to offer their tours soon as part of our collection of nearby day trips one can do from our African View Lodge.

I spent a very interesting hour walking around and finished off with a fresh glass of honey soda prepared by Remy - a great way to start my Sunday!

Their one-hour guided tours can be done in English, German or Swahili!

In February a group of Swiss climbers took on the Machame Route in 8 days. They were very lucky with the weather and I was able to do a day trip with them to Moir Hut and back via Fisher’s Camp - a beautiful day trip for acclimating which I can highly recommend!
