The season is kicking off! Want to check in with how your test is looking before traveling to a show, or maybe try out a new level without actually being in front of people? Or maybe do something ba****ck, try western dressage, or just practice upping the stress level by actually performing a whole test with no do-overs?

Set up the camera, maybe even organize your whole barn into a filming day, and submit it for online feedback and the chance to win series prizes!

NCDCTA Horse of the Year (HOY) awards are designed to recognize horse and rider combinations, based on the quality of their performance, as demonstrated by scores earned during the competition year.

We're starting with Intro and Training levels. These two are not involved with any medal earning, but still provide a wonderful building block for horses and riders.

We love serving up the most fun dressage parties and we want your help! We have several hospitality sponsor spots open, including morning mimosas, the Welcome Wagon, the Fiesta Fun Cart, and the competitors gathering. We pulled together a small but mighty contigent of competitors braving the cold Sunday! We're looking to kick off this season with a fun day of competition!

Reminders:
-You can park pretty much anywhere around the facility, but do not pull close to the barns, or on/inside the track.
-Please clean up after yourself around your trailers. This includes hay, manure, trash, and children.
-Check in is in the white trailer parked near the announcers tower in the infield.
-Non-compete horses need to check in as well.

We plan to have coffee/donuts but there will be no other food truck available. The track restaurant will be open though!

Got my little table all set up at the Fall Finale & Schooling Championships!! I’ll be here the rest of the day today and all day on Sunday for mini bodywork sessions, join me Sunday morning for a discussion on basic compensation patterns and why your horse *DOESN’T* have a “good direction” and a “bad direction”! And for the grand finale, I’ll be giving away a Dressage Saddle to the winner of the Champions Drawing!!
