A RECORD CATCH 🐟🎣

It was an ordinary Wednesday out fishing in Augusta for Gavin Pedrochi when he reeled in what's believed to be the biggest herring caught on record 🤩

It came in at a whopping .645 kilos and was up to 38cm long.

RecFish West says the last record was set in 1968.

"That was very abnormal size to the ones I've caught in the last probably 35 years," Mr Pedrochi said.

"Most of them are around the 25 to 28 centimeter mark and they'll be a couple hundred grams... that's the run of the school size fish."

Mr Pedrochi said he's going through the process to make the record official with RecFish West.
