💫 Lost Dog Cafe is Folly's favorite breakfast for good reason: the pancakes are fluffy, the coffee is hot, and the pups are abundant. 🐶 The menu is full of breakfast, brunch, and lunch favorites, and dogs are more than welcome on the patio, where lots of water bowls are set out for the furry customers. 🥰 Pro tip: get there EARLY on weekend mornings, or be ready for a long wait! (It's worth it 😋)

“Forgive me for startling you with the impetuosity of my sentiments, my dear Scarlett–I mean, my dear Mrs. Kennedy. But it cannot have escaped your notice that for some time past the friendship I have felt for you has ripened into a deeper feeling. A feeling more beautiful, more pure, more sacred. Dare I name it? Can it be love? ” ~Rhett Butler to Scarlett O’Hara, GONE WITH THE WIND (1939).

Constructed nearly 200 years ago, circa 1825, the Edmondston-Alston House presents a unique history of the people, both free and enslaved, who lived and labored on this property. Its collection of furniture, silver and decorative arts, largely original to those who owned the house, constitutes a rich, complex history of Charleston in the 19th century.
