These guys are progressing nicely. They dont really change color but the black gets darker and the white a bit whiter as they grow for the first year or so.

Super Hypo Axanthic! I can say with certainty that this is indeed the Super Hypo Axanthic. I can also confidently say at this point there there are no reliable indicators for Super Hypos. It appears that the Super Form Definitely averages lighter and brighter, but there is no single "tell" that indicates a Super. This Fantastic creature as well as one other hatched from a Female Hypo Het Axanthic who produced an apparently entirely Parthanogenic clutch. The clutch also contains several Super Hypos as well. Heterozygosity is not possible in parthanogenic offspring so in this case the only 4 possible outcomes are : Normal, Axanthic, Super Hypo and Super Hypo Axanthic. This is exactly what the clutch contained and in roughly the expected ratios. There is a good deal more to this situation that I will elaborate on at some point after molecular analysis is done

One of my Adult T+ childreni. These are from the European line and are not related to any other animals being sold in the USA being sold as T+. I personally doubt they are compatible as they look quite different as adults, but will likely have a definitive answer this season.

Proven adult female Hypo Striped Bredli. Just photographed her for my lineage records, her first clutch is due to hatch any moment now, bred her to a 100% hypo stonewashed male.

One of the 2024 Full Blood Hypo Stonewashed. Hatched a good group of these this year. I hatched the first ones in 2018 and in my admittedly biased opinion, they are one of the best looking carpet morph combinations.

This has to be the reddest lineage of Pure Darwins out there. Even the eyes are red. They are all lunatics but I like them anyway. Perfect natural Darwins and het for absolutely nothing!

Variation between two of the Hypo Stonewashed Genetic Stripes. I hatched 4.2 of these guys and 5 have the more extreme striping like the one pictured on the right. The Hypo bloodline contains a separate allele that promotes striping. This other "gene" is not really a morph in an of itself, and it does not occupy the same locus as the recessive genetic stripe gene. Animals that are striped that also contain at least one copy of this other gene end up being far more perfectly striped than a typical Genetic stripe would be. The presence of this second gene also causes the partial expression of the Genetic stripe gene in its heterozygous state. This makes what would have been normal looking het stipes into partially striped and often quite obvious hets. Of the two triple gene animals pictured the more aberrant animal on the left is the only one that lacks the second stripe "helper" gene and as a result is patterned similarly to most normal stonewashed stripes, and differs only in color due to its hypomelanism.

Normally the Stonewashed and Stripe Genes basically fight each other and the resulting combo looks like neither morph really, and are very aberrant. The addition of the second "helper" gene tips the balance in favor of striping and creates the dramatic phenotypic difference seen in these two brothers.

The worlds first Hypo-Stonewashed-Genetic Stripe Bredls Python!

This has been a very long project. This snake, along with a few other such animals in the clutch that hatched today, are the culmination of 15 years of breeding, beginning in 2009. The clutch has a great deal of variation and has several very strange looking hatchlings but, given the nature of the morphs in Bredli, and how they interact, its not surprising.
