As a Disney resort guest, you get an extra 30 minutes in the park before non-resort guests. On my last trip, I was able to experience a couple of attractions before the park officially opened to everyone!
Furthermore, if you are using the new Lightning Lane Multi and Single Pass system, you get to book your attractions at 7 days before check-in, giving you extra time to book and modify those selections before non-resort guests, who can start at 3 days before their arrival day!
Not to mention, it’s really easy to get around the Disney bubble when you’re staying on property-especially if you want to head back to your resort for a mid-day break.

Did you know that there are all kinds of strategies for how to use Genie+ at Disney World? If you want to visit the parks but don’t want to get there at rope drop, Genie+ can be really useful in helping you make the most of a shorter day in the parks! You’ll still need to wake up at 7 to make your first Genie+ selection, but you can go back to sleep afterwards or just enjoy a slower morning before heading out.

Thursday Tip! When you book a cruise, take the time to look at your cabin options. Cruise companies will show the cheapest price for different cabin types, but typically those cabins aren’t in the best locations, or they may be very small.
I recently booked a Hawaii cruise for a couple, and although they initially wanted a Verandah cabin, I told them about the option of a slightly larger cabin that they might enjoy more!
