Hey guys and girls, we have just completed a whirlwind 3500km's in our mind blowing Subaru Forester.

We conquered the snow, ice, rain, sunshine and of course the backroad passes. During this time we were completely blown away by , travelling this country is truly magnificent! Not only does the landscape take your heart to a happy place, but the people you meet is where you are left with a skip, jump and fuzzy feeling inside. To those who traveled with us, gave us free Milo/coffee, offered us petrol in icy -5 Sunday morning suns. The friendly backroad shop owners and farm dwellers who with every pride in their heart didn't stop at anything to ensure we were topped with firewood and woollen blankets.

Don't be scared to take those non main map roads. Watch out for a write up about a Truly South African human heart soon. We live in a remarkable place!

Hello Friends, wow adventure doesn't come without its thrills and spills!! We have just spent three solitude days with nature exploring the Baviaanskloof! We can't wait to share these stories with you (Kirsts notepad is full of them)!!! May you all be having a happy Friday and heading into the weekend with a "kief lekker Suid Afrikaaner" heart. Meet Eco. Our companion and protector for our time at Mdumbi Backpackers Anyone who has been there might know this white Shepard as their follower and man did we feel safe. He didn't have a trustworthy MTB but kept up the pace and knew exactly how the hydrate pack worked. We will miss this guy until we visit again. Subaru Southern Africa Nikon South Africa

Wow from 30 Degrees South we just want to say THANK YOU!! The support and encouragement thus far has been mind blowing! Its a beautiful SA sky out here, a friendly Mdumbi dog called Eco and the ever so comfortable Subaru. (more in honour of the epic Forester Subaru and their support coming soon)
