From Nimbin to Nepal Follow the Leader - TAFE North Coast Institute & GATE study tour & trek

TAFE NSW North Coast and Global Academy of Travel and Hospitality Education, Kathmandu (GATE) have designed an itinerary specifically for Tourism and Hospitality students as a Study Tour of Nepal. Spending 3 full days with expert teachers at the GATE Kathmandu campus, and with opportunities to visit key visitor sites of the Kathmandu Valley we will learn how tourism has shaped Nepal and grown to b

e the countries largest industry. We then undertake a 3 day trek along quiet trails through the foot hills of the Kathmandu valley where views of Mt Everest are possible. We get beyond the tea house trails and trek through traditional Hindu villages where we are assured of a warm welcome; follow trails through oak and rhododendron forest whilst camping in serene locations that showcase dramatic views of the Himalayan Range.
