Harris is a trailblazer in the Caribbean tourism and hospitality industry with a career spanning over two decades. Her active participation on various boards and committees helps to shape the tourism landscape in the Cayman Islands. She demonstrates her commitment to excellence and innovation as Chairman of the Public Transportation Board, the Hotel Licensing Board, and the Cayman Islands Hospitality School Council. Her roles as Deputy Chairman of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame and a board member of the Cayman Islands Film Commission and the Cayman Islands National Attractions Authority underscore her dedication to positioning the Cayman Islands as a premier destination in the region. Harris, who holds a BSc in Hotel Administration and a Manchester Global MBA, is not only the first recipient of the Cayman Islands Ministry of Tourism Scholarship but also a proud Caymanian, embodying resilience, determination and leadership. As Director of Tourism and CTO Chair, she inspires future women leaders and continues to leave an indelible mark on the Cayman Islands and the Caribbean tourism industry.
