Marti Spiegelman Marti Spiegelman here – share my post+comment on this Nature article – If this wasn't already obvious, it should be now – those of us who know about the wisdom of nature, the wisdom of indigenous cultures, and how the technologies of consciousness weave these two together, need to be speaking up and educating our audiences! It's imperative humans not only understand the principles of value creation that are INHERENT in conscious living systems, but also embody these same principles. We must change how we BE before we'll be able to change what we do and be able to create new dimensions of value and momentum for our wellbeing.

The pandemic is devastating economies. As countries look to revive growth, recovery must go with — not against — the grain of nature.

I was recently reading a book on the 10 principles of Abundance. I was happily agreeing with the author until... he got to the last principle, Sourcing. Sourcing in his lexicon was ownership, being responsible, and taking action. He kept talking about sourcing from himself.
Good luck with that young fellow.

What if we source from the Earth herself, from the High Mountains and the Power of the Rivers that use them as Headwaters. What if we use that kind of wisdom and power to live our lives, creating a new way forward of Abundance and Thriving for All.
Now THAT'S Sourcing.

I get on the internet and tap into this world of humans...and everything seems to be falling apart...and then I go outside and spring is under full swing, asking the question, "So, what's the problem?" Interesting to try holding both truths in the same moment...and I get reminded to join again, "into the Family of Things." (a reference to Mary Oliver)
I find a larger context and find all manner of solutions...we're not alone in this. Life has been working on solutions to problems for over 2 billion years...

we are part of an intricate net of living organisms...we are not
the most evolved, the most important...but we are an important
part of the net...when we return and recognize the community...
there are multiple ways forward from here...if we just listen...
then take action...
