I am disheartened to have to post this but let it serve as a gentle reminder.
If you have asked for a quote from me, you know I put a lot of time and effort into it being one that will work for you, I will go out of my way and give numerous other quotes and modifications down to small details to make it perfect for you. I have gone as far into researching extra things that will not even bring me in a single dollar. I take a lot of pride in my work and I do it all for FREE.
If you have been given a quote then proceeded to book that trip yourself or if you book something through me then cancel and re-book yourself just know you are now going to be charged a $50 non-refundable planning fee for my time that was not respected previously. Once that fee is paid, I will be happy to forgive and forget and continue to plan your future trips.
I have a full time job already and this is something I do with any and all spare time I have because I truly enjoy making peoples dream trips a reality. With that being said, each quote takes time away from my family so I can solely focus on you (as it should) and when someone does something as described above it is so disrespectful and selfish to be blunt.
I do not get paid by my clients, I get paid by the supplier, a small commission AFTER your trip, sometimes weeks after. When I say I’m working for you for free, I truly mean it.
As I have stated before, I am happy to do multiple quotes for you, even quotes that are just so you can get an estimate to plan ahead for a future trip (even one you might not even take). What I will no longer tolerate is someone using me. I know my worth and I know how much thought, time and research goes into each quote I do and in order to continue to offer an amazing service and go above and beyond for my clients, my worth will cost for those who have saw no value in my time in the past.
Again, this post is not for anyone other than those who have asked me for quotes then proceeded to book those trips themselves and those who have booked them cancelled and re-booked themselves.
