We feel so fortunate with the kinds of people who visit Innisfree and the experiences they're able to find here. This recent note really made our summer:

"Innisfree Farms -- The Cabin by the Pond quite exceeded our expectations, We came to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and found the rest we so desperately needed. This beautiful little cabin was so clean -- cleaner than the beach house we rented for thousands of dollars this summer. I really appreciated finding a space I was able to settle into without having to clean it first.
In our modern world, it is rare to be able to get away from all the distractions. While we were here, we would happen upon a thread of cell service, which allowed us to truly 'unplug' for the first time in years. So I read a book -- Steinbeck's 'Travels with Charley' (what a treasure!) -- and my husband fished to his heart's desire. We cooked every single meal, watched the moon rise on the deck, saw the doe and her fawn eat by the pond, enjoyed that incredible tub, listened to the radio and napped.
The only thing I wish we had done differently was bring more groceries and book a longer stay. May all who stay here also find the 'peace of God' and the blessings of rest.

The ice storm brought great natural beauty but also no electric power. Only our Estate Home has a backup generator so it is the only dwelling currently occupied, but we hope these sights last into next week for others to come see. AEP says power will be back up mid-week so 🤞!

Incredible storm last night downed dozens of trees and knocked down our power lines. We’re hoping AEP crews stay safe and restore power to the many without it across the county.
