**the flow took us to.... **
Goa – India
** huummm! **
Mrs. M – Amazing cultural environment! Portuguese influence everywhere. It was not very crowded so I definitely recommend going in November/december. We renew our marriage vows according to Indu tradition and it was unforgettable.
Mr. D – Goa it´s quite perfect for short vacations with amazing beaches and friendly people. And the food…. See below!
** here we go! **
Mr. D – Dubai and London are the main hub for connection flights to India. We were in the middle east so for us the best option was a direct flight from Sharjah (with Airarabia) and return back in a flight of Air India. Both are perfect for a flight that takes 3,5 hours. Mr. Baby as normal was pretty much excited…..
Mr. Baby – I am not used to spicy food, so in Air India I struggled a little bit. Mom and Dad should book a non-spicy food in advance. I believe they learned the lesson….
** zzzzzz... **
Mrs. M – We stayed in Park Hyatt in Arossim beach in the south of Goa. If you want a hotel with amazing beaches, the south of Goa is the place. Everything was perfect in this Hotel. They took us from the airport which was quite comfortable, with a very good driver, which is not easy to find in Goa.
Mr. D – The rooms were very clean and large, with a very nice view. We had a problem with the sewage in one day and they immediately solve it.
Mr. Baby – One night in the balcony we saw some monkeys climbing the trees in front. Soooo nice!
** whaaaat? **
Mr. Baby – Amazing pool with some slides. Daddy rented a jet ski and we had the time of our lives. It was my first time but….not the last!
Mr. D – In the cities surrounding the hotel we found amazing church’s from the Portuguese time. We hired a Taxi in the hotel that took us during one day to all the areas around. Spice farms, church´s, market´s.
**careful! **
Mr. Baby – We went in the beginning of Goa summer nevertheless the sun was too much for my skin. Sun protector and UV t-shirt are a must.
Mrs. M – Driving in Goa is a challenge. Everybody seems to be used to the anarchy that is the traffic. In the beginning we were a little bit afraid, to be honest.
** taste it.... or not! **
Mrs. M – Seafoooooood! It's so amazing and cheaper than in the western countries. Zeebop by the sea was our favorite restaurant. Also the restaurant of the hotel was quite good.
Mr D – There is a lot of Portuguese influence in the Goa cuisine, so we felt like at home. Soaps, Chicken, seafood, everything was tasty.
