Gainsville Tx The zoo in Gainsville got it's start as a circus as Gainsville Community Circus . The circus was opened in 1930 at the Cooke County Fair. Back in 1954, there was a fire that detroyed the circus equipment and so the animals were kept in permanent enclosures. In 1954, the zoo was renamed for Frank Buck a film director and native of Gainsville. [ 27 more words. ]

I should have made more updates than I have. The chicks have grown 5 times their original size. Knock on wood but we haven't lost any although I had to separate one Golden Lace because of being picked on. She may survive but was picked on pretty bad. We separated them into two cages to combat the picking problem. Some breeds are more aggressive and some more passive. This is a picture from a couple weeks ago. Here is how big they are now!

Our new chicks are a week and a half old now and have tripled in size. We have not lost any yeat and it's looking like all will make it. We just sold 4 egg layers today as well. One dollar at a time!

Mansfield Tx The famed De La Salle High School football team is coming to Texas to play Euless Trinity. De La Salle has been named the preseason #1 team in the nation by Max Preps but are they being set up? Surely not but how can you compare the California H.S. teams to Texas teams? Texas High School Football Texas is massive and it's hard to keep up with all of the schools at the 6A level. There are several teams we all know about because if their football success, Odessa Permian, Allen, Cedar Hill, and Katy come to mind. As I looked around the internet, I found them but not in one place. I have created several maps by their districts that shows their approximated attendance zones. A couple of months ago, I noticed the toilet was not flushing very well. I headed out to the septic tanks and found that water was backing up over the top of the tanks. There was standing water everywhere and very smelly. I called the people that clean out the septic tanks and when they cleaned them out they told me that the leach field has failed and as soon as the tanks fill up again they would overflow again. The National HS Football message board has a thread that pits the N. California teams against the Houston area teams. There is a lot that goes in to a fictitious match-up. N. California power teams are mostly private schools which tends to consolidate the talent pool. The problem is that the talent has a choice where they want to play so the players will not chose to be on a team with great players ahead of them and thus limiting their playing time. Poison ivy is all over Texas and I have had my fair share of getting the outbreaks. Poison ivy has three leaves on each stem and grows as a vine. When it is not a mature plant it can look like a ground cover. When the plant is mature, the stem will take on the look of a rope going up the side of a tree. [ 307 more words. ]
