Wrapped up Clay club with animal bells and wind chimes. The Eagle wind chime with the bird flying over the clouds ☁️ is so creative! Love how these turned out!

What I thought would be a quick 3–4 day project turned into a full-blown adventure—nearly triple the time! But oh, was it worth it! These little bears are absolutely adorable! We started with mini Coke cans, added foiled heads and arms to build our armatures, then wrapped everything in more foil before diving into the messy magic of papier-mâché. The trickiest part? Covering all those curves! But the real fun began when we brought them to life—so colorful, so whimsical, and full of personality!

Well a project I thought would take 3-4 days actually about tripled! But are these bears adorable! Mini coke canes +foiled heads and arms to create our armatures then wrapped all form in foil then added our paper mache’! This was the@most difficult for them to cover all curved areas! Then the fun part! Making them come to life! And oh how colorful and whimsical

Bears and tigers and lions, oh my….. well actually : bears and cats and unicorns and pigs, how fun! My students making their paper mache’ animals, some for the first time experiencing this messy fun! Children with Dyslexia may struggle with hand coordination and this is a perfectly sloppy , fine motor skill exercise!

Art Club working on clay rattles! 2 pinch pots put together with paper wrapped beads inside. Embellishments added on the surface!! Student M “this is so fun I’m going to ask mom to sign me up for the next session” (🤣 this is the first day of this session). But still great motivation for this teacher to keep making it fun!

When you have 19 homeschoolers with as much energy as they have creativity , prepping is key to a successful project! And we finished early so we played “be a scarecrow statue” and I taught them my favorite Halloween song! Success!

Flashback to 2015 when my passion for painting glasses turned into a whirlwind of creativity and connection. With over 2,000 glasses painted each year, I found myself immersed in the joy of being a part of people's celebrations nationwide. One memorable day stands out vividly – I was commissioned to paint glasses for a lady headed to NYC, adorned with iconic symbols like taxis, apples, and Broadway. But the highlight? Crafting glasses for Hoda and Kathie Lee of the Today Show, perfectly matching their logos for the 3rd hour. Hoping to catch their attention, I sent them off as a gift. To my delight, not only did they accept the glasses, but they even celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on air with them! A moment of validation for my art and a memory I'll cherish forever.

Creating with Origami + paper beads + clay motifs = put them all together and make mobiles ! Between 2 cancelled days due to 2 different hurricanes I wasn’t sure we were going to get this one done in time for our art show! But we did and they are so fun!
