Flashback to 2015 when my passion for painting glasses turned into a whirlwind of creativity and connection. With over 2,000 glasses painted each year, I found myself immersed in the joy of being a part of people's celebrations nationwide. One memorable day stands out vividly – I was commissioned to paint glasses for a lady headed to NYC, adorned with iconic symbols like taxis, apples, and Broadway. But the highlight? Crafting glasses for Hoda and Kathie Lee of the Today Show, perfectly matching their logos for the 3rd hour. Hoping to catch their attention, I sent them off as a gift. To my delight, not only did they accept the glasses, but they even celebrated St. Patrick’s Day on air with them! A moment of validation for my art and a memory I'll cherish forever.

Pumpkins have invaded my studio …. So fun!
Love how this one turned out! I am so thankful for all these orders, it has given me a reason to get out of bed and enjoy what I do! Being a widow is the hardest challenge I have ever had to work through. Painting has always been my therapy and good for my soul…and so I paint!

Happy Fall! I love my customers that ask me to do something a little out of my norm. In this order I used a lot of dusty blues and slate blue! I love this time of year where others inspire me!

I really enjoy this form of art! I paint the background and perhaps some vague representation of something in my inner thoughts… then bring it to life with paper I have spent hours painting, marking , tearing and applying! Sometimes it works , capturing the dark and light and color and flow… other times I have struggled getting that flow. I haven’t really painted for fun in a year since loosing my precious precious husband…. He would have found a way to get me back to doing what I love a lot sooner… but everything has its time and perhaps now I need to listen to his voice in my head!

I was asked by the daughter of a dear friend who passed away if I could sew 4 bears from her mom’s clothes! I was given pajamas and I have to say I have never sewn on silky, soft, cozy fabric and it proved to be a huge learning curve, sometimes having to walk away and try again another day! But perhaps it was supposed to take me this long for I finished this week and then I realize it has been 1 year since I lost my friend and I had the honor and privilege to make something for her grandchildren to cherish…and my heart smiled!

In February I was asked to turn a grey drab room into a space that would let the children being treated for 3-4 hours three times a week have a colorful place of hope! I had a team of 4 helping this come to a magical transformation! Every grey wall was brought to life, we even had some patients pick the colors they would want. After many color and design changes… it is done! When I think of these young children I hope I give them a little peace and fun during their life long treatments! thank you .ruiz_ .greene

I love when my clients/friends believe I can do something, even if I’m not a 💯 sure I can. Between painting murals, and other mundane daily life challenges, I was asked to paint a champagne bottle with the chapel for a couple who got married there. This is new for me to paint… these bottles. There’s a whole lot of technique that I’m trying to master. my mistakes aren’t as forgiving (so don’t look too closely)!

We had a paint party tonight with some amazing volunteers. We had the best BEST time and love how much progress we have made. This Pediatric treatment room is going from dirty grey walls to fun and cheerful!

I painted these plates last year but the event got rained out. I was not able to post till My client was able to celebrate and compete this year. I was unable to attend this past Saturday, but I’m so glad the weather let her have fun! She always does such a colorfully magical table and I am honored to be a small part of it!
